Add your mock here..and ONLY your mock

its not really back 2 back. its one or the other. I just threw that option in if mayhew wanted to trade up. if we got moncrief id assume itd take our 3rd and 4th rd pick so we wouldn't have Bryant and Dixon.

I agree lb could be upgraded. im just having a hard time finding a guy I like other than shazier who is projected as a late 1st.

Ok, I see what you did there. My bad..

You mean likeColt Brennan, Danny Weurful and Timmy Chang?

No thanks.

College accuracy is not necessarily telling of pro success.

Not saying it is but a strong arm, non accurate QB is almost a failure before it begins. Just saying strong arm by itself means nothing.

What are our options? Are you suggesting we spend an even higher pick on a back up qb? Right now we can either sign a piece of trash veteran or draft a mid round guy and groom him. Everyone available in the 4th round is going to have some flaws....that's why they are still avail in the 4th round :D

Here is the top 15 qbs in the draft according to Scouts:

Blake Bortles QB 6'5" 232 UCF 93 1 9
Teddy Bridgewater QB 6'2⅛" 214 Louisville 92 2 13
Johnny Manziel QB 5'11?" 207 Texas A&M 90 3 21
Jimmy Garoppolo QB 6'2?" 226 Eastern Illinois 83 4 50
AJ McCarron QB 6'3?" 220 Alabama 78 5 62
Logan Thomas QB 6'6⅛" 248 Virginia Tech 69 6 99
Tom Savage QB 6'3⅞" 228 Pittsburgh 66 7 114
Derek Carr QB 6'2⅜" 214 Fresno State 60 8 139
Aaron Murray QB 6'0?" 207 Georgia 58 9
Zach Mettenberger QB 6'4⅞" 224 LSU 55 10
Tajh Boyd QB 6'0⅝" 222 Clemson 52 11
Stephen Morris QB 6'1⅞" 213 Miami (FL) 45 12
David Fales QB 6'1⅝" 212 San Jose State 38 13
Connor Shaw QB 6'0⅜" 206 South Carolina 31 14
Jeff Mathews QB 6'3?" 223 Cornell 30 15

Garapolo is getting 1st round consideration.

McCarron is a lock in rd 2-3

Carr projected rd 2-3 now that garapolos stock jumped.

Logan Thomas...you wana talk about a strong arm that cant hit the broad side of a barn?...pick logan Thomas.

Savage Murray Mettenberger I put all in rd 4ish. I like Savage for our offense. Murray is a nice qb...but theres nothing great about him. Mettenberger might have the most upside of the 3.

Connor Shaw is the only other guy on the list id consider. Hes undersized...but a hell of a qb and you can probably get him in rd 5-6.

Tajh Boyd has a very accurate deep ball. I'd take a late round flyer on him.

I don't know..it just seems like a wasted 4th round pick..I rather get a guy who can contribute in some way early on. Even as depth..Regardless what $taff does this season he ain't going anywhere I have to face that. Imo, flawed guys or players with a lot to learn are later picks. Not 4th, even comp. Pick a DT for depth or rotational - I'd be happy with that.

Look at the number of rookies that have come in for starters due to injury or just poor play.

If a rookie quarterback comes in for Stafford and leads a couple of wins it won't seem like a wasted pick at all.

IF..won't be this year anyway. I don't see a 4th round project like Savage winning any games (we might win but it won't be from his play)and I also don't see him as being the backup here right away but the number three.

Those are just my opinions of course and educated guesses.

a 4th round pick wont be a 3rd string guy behind a noodle arm like moore. why moore even has a job is beyond fathomable....only mayhew would have a qb on his team that cant throw a football.

Why is Moore still here? Grafted I have no faith in him but why is Moore still holding a roster spot?

Cheap, young......an ideal 3rd stringer.

However, if he's cut to make room for a rookie.....I wouldn't care at all.

(Murray!!!!)

We have not seen him throw a football since preseason last year. Maybe they juiced him up and put him in the weight room. Or maybe the kid finally hit puberty. Or maybe he is still useless. His college resume shouldn't be ignored. Let's see what he does this preseason and let the new coaching staff evaluate him. If he completes a pass we have ourselves a quarterback controversy. :lmao:

Endzone Dan Orlovsky is going to be signed within the week.

Just bringing in a veteran while they groom whoever it is they draft.

Matt hasn't missed a game in 3 years....not too worried about who they sign to hold the clipboard and signal in plays.

Really?? I know Matt's been healthy (knock on wood) but what if?? Bottom line, your backup QB goes in and expect the worse. But Orlovsky?? My God...lol.
