Well we are pick 66 so that's not exactly early 3rd
We have the 12th pick in the 3rd round. We're not exactly late third either.

Yep downgrade for sure but cheap. I still want a Round 4 QB too. Backup QB is the one thing on the roster I really dislike now. I hate Moore.
My only hope is that NONE of the money is guaranteed and both Moore and a mid-round pick beat him off the roster.
If I see Dan-O in a Lions uni again, I may vomit.
It's the vet min and probably a vet reduction rule so his cap number is probably around 500 K. Shaun Hill was 1.75 million. Pretty big difference there.
And in my opinion, the most wasted 500K on the roster.
I could find a kid who played QB in high school 20 years ago, who is now fat, bloated, and half retarded, who could fuck up just as badly as Dan Orlovski for 300K.
I doubt that. Caldwell got him to win at least. 2-3 on a 2-14 team. And maybe he learned something in Houston or Tampa the last 4 years. He has more TDs than ints too. Let's just hope a Round 4 pick wins the number 2 and Dan O is number 3. He's an upgrade over Moore.

You rang? Lol.
Round #1 Mike Evans WR T&M
Crank up those tear ducts because this is actually going to happen. The Mike Evans Train is leaving College Station with Martin Mayhew and Jim Caldwell as first class passengers. Hughes and I have been asking for change and beating the drum for Mayhew's ouster so long we look like those guys who play pots and pans and rubber tubs for quarters outside subway stations. I see Mitch out there digging the vibe. This may push enough people over the edge that we can start a drum circle and get in touch with our primitive selves.
Round #2 Kyle Van Noy OLB BYU
While it is no secret the Lions are looking for a pass rushing outside linebacker presence, this pick is more about getting Ziggy a friend. Ziggy has never been able to fit in with the rest of the team because let's face it he's a bit weird. Case in point a guy who was about be a multimillionaire showed up to the biggest night of his life wearing IMAX 3D glasses as a fashion accessory. Plus Suh told him Hasa Diga Eebowai means fuck you god (okay fine no broadway musical fans in the house?). I'll just come right out and say it...*Flaming voice* Shellll-tered! In light of the recent Incognito-Martin bullying scandal this could potentially be bad for business...so the Lions elect forgo filling any real need to draft Ziggy a BFF. Did you really think it was a separated shoulder injury that sidelined him for all those games? It was a separated heart...nuff said.
Round #3 Jaylen Watkins S UF
New DC Austin and Watkins were reported as having a special relationship. No kidding google it. They ran into each other at a hotel bar in Indianapolis during the Lions trip to the combine. Tim Twentyman quoted Martin Mayhew's description of the chance encounter as quote unquote awkward. In short the two go together like Jerry Sandusky and a One Direction concert. Beside see that "S" next to Watkins name in the pick title, yeah that's right, they are going to convert him to Safety, they plan on grooming him to be the next Amari Spievey which according to Pro Foosball Focus had a great game once against Brandon Marshall in 2011 or so LKP tells me.

Mike Evans isn't my first choice either (Gilbert or Barr) but bashing a pick before he plays a down is stupid. Just becuase he's not your guy. None of you are scouts or GMs so bashing a GM before you see is uncalled for really. He's got talent and was productive and could be a good asset for the Lions.

4b. Isaiah Lewis, S, Michigan State
4c. Will Sutton, DT, Arizona St.

love this draft. a thug bum wr, a bff and a "special friend." If this doesn't get mayhew the boot nothing will. Im all in on this draft. Dude....I have to come to LKPs aid here though....you totally got your Spievery and Ron Bartell stories mixed up lmao. Remember when we had to hear for like 3 months how Ron Bartell was a shut down corner cause he handled B Marshall lmaolololololololol. That has to be one of my top 5 all time LKP arguments. Ron Bartell....fucking ron bartell loollolollllllllll.
We need a kicker and Fera is the top rated.
Alex, please refer to post #93 in this thread.
I gave you four links, all on the first page of a quick Google search, and Fera is top rated on NONE of them. In fact he's #4 on ESPN's board for kickers.
I ask again, where do you get the impression he is the top rated kicker, because he is clearly not according to many sites.
