I think he will be the best player available at 10. Supposedly, that's how our GM drafts. Now, whether they feel he is the best player available at 10 is another question. I have a hard time believing they will trade up to get Watkins. So Gilbert, Mack, Clowney, Watkins, Matthews, Evans, Barr, 2 QB's off the board.

The Lions must decide on Lewan, Ebron, or Mosely. Ebron is a no brainer in my mind. They get a dynamic play maker who really changes how defenses scheme against us.

Can you imagine, CJ, Tate, Pettigrew, and Ebron along with the RB on the field at the same time? Are they running or passing? Just a thought....

liked that pick prior to resigning Pettigrew. Now its a choice of either upgrading or TE or upgrading at CB and I think corner is more pertinent need to upgrade. Ebron would be a monster in this offense though...cant deny that. I think Barr is going to slide to below pick 15 maybe quite a bit further. Im sticking with Gilbert if were stuck at 10. Trades up or down welcome....preferably down.

I think Gilbert is gone prior to 10. Now if its a choice between Gilbert and Ebron, Gilbert would be their choice but I still think Ebron is the better player. Not sure Barr falls below 10 but what do I know? Remember, we are going to a NO style if offense. Ebron fits that. I think the Lions are bluffing in Watkins

Ebron is dynamic in the passing game....someone that can take advantage of match ups. Pettigrew is a blob....that cant take advantage of a $2 hooker. 6 yard curl vs the entire route tree.....comparison isn't close who would be better in this offense.

There's a huge difference between saying he has no idea what he's doing and saying that he hasn't proved anything yet. He was Drew Brees' QB coach for 5 years! You honestly think he has no idea what he's doing??? He worked with Sean Payton for 7 years! Is there room to doubt? Yes, because he hasn't been an OC yet. But saying he has no idea what he's doing is beyond dumb!

First off he only has one 5000 yard season. He almost had a second and the third was a bit away.

Secondly, yards don't mean jack.

Lastly, he left points out on the field because of his play. He needs to improve.

bad news....theres no one at 10 that is a "cant miss"..at any position. if mayhew is telling everyone in the public that hes interested in trading up for another weapon. Then staying at 10 and getting arguably the next best weapon in the draft is not that far fetched.
