they should draft the best available, not need.

Get Startedthey should draft the best available, not need.
then why is Houston drafting clowney when they need a QB?.
Don't normally agree with Alex, but I do here. Clowney and Watt would destroy offensive lines. They also have the first pick in the 2nd round. Easy QB pick there. Or go after a WR to pair with a short term solution vet QB. They could probably give up a pick for Cousins.
nice bail. they need a QB. if they are supposed to draft by need in 1st, then they draft QB. Clowney is the BPA pure and simple.

That's why we are where we are..you need to go after needs sometimes.
thats why i was screaming for Gilbert/Denarrd and trading down. we need to fix our depth problems an secondary is the biggest followed closely by WR
yes and no. you have to know who the real BPA's are. We may draft that way but doesn't turn out so.
We're not about about a TE being the BPA by a ton. If that was the case I could get on board..but Ha Ha for example, he's good and a need. So I'd go his way before Ebron.
Im not so sure and I am not an expert. I just think Ebron is the more dynamic player overall and adds a weapon the Lions have been missing for a long time. Plus side is he fits what they are trying to do offensive sceam wise. I would be ok with Ha Ha but I think Ebron provides more value at that pick.
I don't see value because we just signed Pettigrew. Take Ebron and Pettigrew is a wasted sign.

take haha and ihedigbo is a wasted sign. Pettigrew has been a waste of space since hes been here. Mayhew is just too dumb to realize it....
