Air Force

Have to say. Besides the touchdown drive early, the defense has really tightened up considerably. Dantonio still likely going to lay into them at halftime for the tackling misses.

When does the Burbridge for Heisman hype start? If this was Braxton miller putting these numbers up, ESPN would be going crazy.

Warner having a terrible half, but Burbridge in un coverable. Huge half.

AF is going all out to stop the run. Not sure we ever attempted a 1st down pass?

Driving me nuts. We're running into a 9-10 man front over and over. Then when they expect pass they blitz us. Play action on first down will kill them.

Ill bet you they dont run 5 play action calls the whole year. #extremelyconservativeplaycalls

Early down throws that drive and look how smooth it was. Even opened up the run for our longest run of the day.

Aaron Burbridge is a star.

Loved the blitz pickup by London though that made it all possible. Pass pro by our young RBs has been very good so far this season.

Three play action plays lead to two bad drops (wide open 15+ yard gains) and an easy 20 yard touchdown. I'm not saying we should really beat the crap out of these guys in the air, but maybe run a series where we only pass just to open up the run game.

Was that London or Scott who completely missed the blitzer on 3rd for the sack? That guys gets picked up and it was looking like a big play.

This game is pathetic. Anyone a little more talented with this game plan would be kicking our ass.

At a certain level of talent, the triple option stops being a viable gameplan (mostly from a recruiting standpoint), so it's not as simple as saying a more talented triple option wins easily.

The safeties so far have looked completely confused. They look like freshmen in their first game out there. If it's not a run, they lose coverage almost immediately. Nicholson can't run at a smart angle to save his life today.

This does feel a lot like a hangover game, but this is also a gameplan that almost nobody else actually uses. There's a reason the defense was working on it for almost 6 months despite Air Force being a pushover team otherwise.

You just made a great point.....though not one I think you were intending to make. For having prepared for this team for six months, we look like absolute dog shit!!
