Air Force

Ok, I'm taking a lot of what I've said back. The defense barely looks like they are trying until it gets inside our own 10. Have we covered ANY of their receivers in the second half?

Terrible game. Just played awful.

Air Force 10 games last year, but we looked disinterested at times. We need to improve by a lot.

When is the next time we play a standard power offense? So sick of playing the spread, the hurry up, and then the option. Our D is built to stop standard offenses, I don't know if we play more than 5 of those this year.

Ab was a bright spot. O line was bad. RBs made a ton of bad reads.

Cook was pretty good. He now has 8 TDs and 1 INT on the season.

Concerned a out defensive personnel, lt hurt, davis hurt, Copeland hurt, and bullough suspended

Watching OSU scrap to stay with NIU today has made me feel a bit better about the Spartans. We did just have a huge game against a very good team that we won. And admittedly, I was never worried about losing the game today, just about how a close game would make us look bad. Looking bad is still a lot better than losing.

Losing Bullough for a half shouldn't kill us against Central, but the defensive losses ARE piling up. Losing Copeland for the year could be a big deal against OSU. But the schedule is favorable. As long as we don't stink it up bad enough to lose in the B1G, we have time for the defense, coaches, and young replacements all to make big strides.

The defense and the OL need to improve a ton for the Spartans to have a shot at making the playoff.

Copeland looked like he was going to be a star, but we have to move on. I think Hicks and Edmonson have looked better than Colquhoun. Going to hurt us this season, Copeland was locking guys up.

I'm more worried about our safety's that look like they wanna play touch football. Big plays are gonna be a problem this year I'm afraid.

Well if OSU plays like they did today vs us we might not have much to worry about. I am worried another team will beat us before that game.

We looked bad today beating a 10 win team my 14. OSU and TCU struggled against bad teams. Keep working and improve and things will fall into place.

Bama lost and that means we'll move up in the polls. USC lost too.

Watch ole miss jump to 6 right away and bama only fall to 7. When Oregon lost to a number 5 team in MSU on the road and fell to 12.

Ole Miss jumped to #5 in the coaches. We are #3 with 3 first place votes. We will get some more first place votes in the AP too. TCU is a fraud, they will lose or barely win and we'll be #2 soon. Keep winning and the OSU game should be #1 vs #2.

People overreacted to Air Force, we were up 35-7 in a team that won 10 game last year and will probably win the same this year. We didn't finish strong, but AF is a nightmare to play against for 4 quarters.

The best team in week 3 will not be the best team in week 7 or week 11, the team that improves the most will be the team that wins it all.

Ole miss deserved that jump, if beating oregon at home is impressive beating Bama on the road is a lot more impressive

I'm not taking any comfort in OSU's slow start so far this year. They had a really slow start last year and were TD dogs when they basically kicked our asses in East Lansing. It's hardly a perfect analog given their expectations this year vs. last and the added QB controversy/question marks but they could easily have a similar progression. They're clearly not the best team in week 3, or at least they're not playing like a team that's head and shoulders above the rest but they very well could be come November.

Bama has been overrated the last 2 seasons. They have no QB and somehow have almost no play makers on offense. How can you end up with no dynamic play makers outside of a bruising back when you recruit like that is beyond me.
