This is Al Kaline's childhood home at 2222 Cedley in a working-class Baltimore neighborhood (2016 photo). The family didn't have much, so when Al got his $15,000 signing bonus, he paid for his parents? mortgage & his mom's eye surgery. Because Al Kaline was that kind of person with integrity, class, and he never forgot where he came from with his family.
