Nice..much appreciated.

Nice work...I love looking at this stuff... It will be better when we are in...At least i hope we make it!!!!!

Updated

Texas in the lead now, holding the tiebreaker over the Yankees.

Nothing much changed last night

I dropped Boston to on the fringe since they're under .500 now.

Updated

I've dropped Cleveland to likely out for now. They've just been so bad lately that they need a lot of things to go right to get back in it.

Updated

The Tigers move into the 2nd WC spot with the win and Angels loss. If the season were to end today, Oakland would host the Tigers since Oakland is 48-42 vs AL and Detroit is 47-43 vs AL (they are 2-2 vs each other).

Please don't let us play Oakland. How disgusted would we all be if Inge somehow had the winning hit? I don't know if I could survive that. I just don't want that scenario to ever have a chance at happening.

Tigers move into the top WC spot

Updated

This is one interesting scenario with Oakland and Baltimore tied for the 2nd WC spot.

Updated

This is an odd situation if it were to stay this way, a 3 way tie for both wild card spots

I posted this as of now, correct me if I'm wrong

Who plays who
Detroit (vs Oak 2-2, vs Bal 2-1)
Oakland (vs Det 2-2, vs Bal 3-3)
Baltimore (vs Det 1-2, vs Oak 3-3)

I believe this would result in a 3 team playoff with
Baltimore @ Oakland and the winner would play @ Detroit

The winner would represent the first WC spot and the remaining two would play a tiebreaker game for the last spot

Thanks KC!

Updated the standings

Baltimore and Detroit losing creates some separation for the wild card.

Boston and Toronto continue to move in the wrong direction.

Updated

The Yankees reclaim the top spot. Detroit would host the WC game against Baltimore.

Updated

Both Detroit and Baltimore are booted out of the WC spots in one night. Tampa and Oakland claim those spots now with Tampa holding the tiebreak.

I've moved Toronto to likely out for now, they've lost 11 of 13, they're 8 and 14 games back in the WC and AL East, respectively. Things just aren't looking good for them right now.

With that said, we're starting to see some separation between possible playoff teams and teams that are out. From the looks of it,

Oakland
LA Angels
Baltimore
Tampa
Detroit

Will be fighting for the two WC spots (could probably include Chicago in there, but I'll hold off for now)

Boston could be a factor, but they have to make up some ground.

NY and Texas swap spots

Baltimore takes over the 2nd WC spot

Updated

NY and Texas swap again

The WC leader now has a better record than the AL Central leader

Updated

Those two wild card spots look to be interesting, no team can afford to lose as five teams are within 2.5 games of each other.
