Allllllllllll Aaaaaaabooooooard!! NEGATIVE TOWN!!

Why not? Second best start in Lions history.....fact. 18 wins. Not that bad. Throw in at least 2-3 games stolen from them and you're looking at 20+ wins. Name me who you want right now.

Don't forget all the close wins in 2014 Tony. It goes both ways.. I hope Caldwell and Quinn deliver us the Super Bowl soon because with that schedule next season the playoffs should be cake. But lets not give Caldwell to much of a pass yet. We did get ripped a few games this year but Jim also was fortunate in a few in 2014.

Saints 24-23.
Flacons 22-21.
Vikings 16-14.
Bears 20-14.
Miami 20-16.

Of course. I don't know how many times I've heard, "Oh, two plays away from making the playoffs."

What about the Packers shanking a FG from a typically reliable kicker? Or the ridiculous survival mode at home against the Bears?

Let me ask you guys this. Watching the NFC Championship game last night with those two teams. Can you imagine the Lions, built as they are right now, being in that game? Because I sure as hell cannot.

Those defenses are light years ahead of what the Lions have.

if we played carson palmer last night....we would have won. Both games were horribly played by the Qbs....except for cam.

Man, Carson was bad last night. But I have no faith in the Lions offense to move against Arizona.

As Booger said earlier, I'm sure his injury was still bothering him. But it's the defense that makes no sense. They were good, then they get slaughtered by Seattle, give up a HailMary to GB and then get pummeled by Carolina.

But if Denver brings the same defense they did against NE they have a chance. That was awesome.

The two pass plays manning completed were easy throws. The cornerback so bit on both moves that even Nick Sheridan could have completed them.. Denver's defense was something yesterday. We will see if they can contain Newton. . My guess is they will run it again 30 to 40 times if possibl to keep it away from Carolina.

Palmer has been horrible for the last 5 games or so. Couldn't believe how bad he was. He must have been hurt and Arians kept him out there wayyyyyy too long. He left him out to dry, i actually felt sorry for him.

Hey, im not saying Caldwell is coach of the year but i dont think there was anyone worth pursuing not named Coughlin. And we all know he was never coming here. Caldwell deserves another shot at least

Yeah I do not disagree with that there was nothing out there to really get. I personally did not want Coughlin but that is just me.. I just hope Caldwell can get better and get the lions over the hump because i just feel that they have enough talent with a few tweaks to make a deep playoff run..

I agree, brother! Get a couple wins off the hop, draft well with a ton of picks too. I see Quinn making moves with all those picks (Patriot way). Quinn is cleaning house too. He's making a solid impression already in the office and he's got his scouts locked in. Im really excited for the new regime....
