Americans ' Distaste for both Trump and Clinton is record breaking

I remember watching Barney Miller as a kid. i must have been 2 or 3, but its one of my earliest TV memories.

the only episode i remember is the one where they arrest a guy who claims to be Jesus. i also had a bass line in my for years, and couldnt remember where it was from, until, through youtube, I heard the Barney Miller theme. badass.

I don't remember much else about the show. I should watch it again.

There were jail regulars that would be held at the precinct from time to time .

One was a gay man and the show used his character to address the issues of homosexuality and discrimination. I recall Barney addressing the room of his cops and explaining how the preferred term is "gay bar" and not "queer" or something like that.

Huh. had no idea about that.

and at the time, right-wing media wasn't in full swing yet; there was no Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, or Ann Coulter to point out to vulnerable American youths like me that we were being brainwashed by Barney Miller into believing in evil liberal concepts like "tolerance" and "empathy" for people different than us.

whoa, whoa, whoa... I guess Trump's business career could be a topic for a whole other thread, but you seem to be implying he was good at it, or at least a competent executive. you are, apparently, woefully ignorant of his history.

I said no such thing - merely that it's laughable that you think being a community organizer is something that better prepares a candidate for POTUS than running a multi-billion dollar enterprise. I don't know much about Trump's history but, but I don't need to because you're not talking about how successful one is at either, you're just saying that "organizing" is a better experience. I find it hilarious that you think a guy that turned a 40 or even 100 million dollar gift from his rich dad into a multi-billion dollar business is incompetent. Do you really have no idea that your shameless spin for the purpose of bashing people you dislike is revealing what an idiot you are?

Ann and GOProud.

Back when I used to watch O'Reilly, I saw him interviewed with Barney Frank on numerous locations, and O'Reilly never addressed Frank as a "queer" even one single time.

I don't know what Rush Limbaugh says about gay people. Does anybody? Does anybody care?

Even the cast of 'cops' were ...black, polish, puerto rican and japanese. There was literally one cop for every ethnic stereotype and much of the dialogue was self-deprecating or disarming. ...like the Puerto Rican cop talking about how many cousins he has or something along those lines

Well I have heard Ann say herself a number of times when I've heard her on the radio and television that she is frequently invited to be-and accepts the invitations obviously-a guest speaker to fiscally conservative LGBT groups.

gay guys seem to pick kinda-mannish looking women as "gay icons" (like Joan Crawford) so I'm not surprised gay republicans would pick her. makes sense.

That's funny.

She was vice president in Sharknado 3 you know.

Mark Cuban was president.

I know you love those movies.
