I understand that....it's just a lot of people on this thread are acting like the Tigers missed out on signing Matt kemp
I went thru the posts...Nobody suggested DeJesus is an All Star. He's a solid player, maybe even only a 4th Of, but for 5 mil he'd be a great addition. I'd take him over Boesch or Young everyday of the week.

I would rather have Boesch than Dejesus. I am willing to take a risk with DY this year. He is looking for a contract. My guess is he will hit .280-.285 with 25 HR if he plays for the Tigers full time next year. I'm not saying the Dejesus wouldn't have been a nice addition....but nothing to get excited about.

I know it's just a prediction, but you are predicting that Delmon will shatter his career home run totals, as 21 is his high and generally is around 12-13.

And that .280 will be accompanied by a .310 obp, which is bad.

Yes, I think he will have a career year. It's a contract year. Of course I could be wrong....I've been wrong before!

I just heard that DeJesus was offered 7 million to come to Detroit but he said "No way. I kill them guys. If it weren't for the Tigers, my .284 lifetime would be a .237"
