I suspect LKP is right. It's one of those rare circumstances, but I honestly think Stafford has a shot at the HoF. When the voters vote, it's all about numbers, and I think he's putting up the numbers to do it.

Stafford should get to 50,000 passing yds career barring circumstances. That will do it. 45,000 should even be enough.

Not winning anything keeps Stafford out of the hof. Everybody puts up big numbers anymore. Guy can't even make the probowl without injuries and top qbs refusing the invite
