like a guy said earlier..it was only in the 2nd inning....surely that can't be counted as a "big hit" on the Chica scale.

MLB average was 0.20 in 2010....so he's better then average in the clutch.
I'll take it from a lefty catcher who plays pretty much behind the dish every game.
slapped again....get yourself a band-aid

geezus,
he's an idiot...lol
the average MLB player hovers between a - 1 .0 and + 1.0 in clutch factor....
like I told him...Avila is better then average in the stat...and for a lefty catcher that sits behind the dish everyday...I'll take it from him.
dude is 1st in most hitting stats that matter in the AL for catchers...2nd behind Arencibia for homers.
everyday that im not looking at Gerald Laird back there is a good day for me.
]How about Piece of shit Cringe? Doesn't he need a clutch thread.

I'm not disagreeing with you there...he's the top catcher in the league.
but
just
isn't
clutch.
(p.s. which is it? .2, .1, -.1?)

which is what tard ? it's a fact the average MLB player hovers between - 1.0 and + 1.0 in the stat during the year.
Arods clutch factor last year was a - 1.40....still though I'd take him at bat with 2 outs and a guy on 2nd in the bottom of the 9th.
now pick yourself up , dust yourself off , grab a wine cooler and watch the u of m game.
]You have to admit the wine cooler remark was rather funny.

according to you, Avila doesn't fall within the average.
which would make him below average.
And yes, I would take AROD before Avila in that situation.

average clutch factor for an MLB player - 0 . 20
Avila clutch factor - 0.12
