Baldwin has second round tender

And no matter the 2nd round hindsight misses, the good far outweighs the bad for Mayhew.

Free agency, trades, re-signings, 1st round and other rounds.

It is WAY too early to make that assumption. He has been the GM since 2008 and the Lions have had no success since then.

The Lions have accumulated a ton of talent and made the playoffs under Mayhew. That's a fact around the league.

Turnovers are the big issue holding this talented team back and it's up to good players like Stafford/Bush to fix that. Other things can help like more forced and less injuries. 2012 had unforeseen holes but that was fixed in 2013.

2009/2010 was the rebuild time and lost their QB.

Since he has been in charge they have won 36% of their games, have 4 losing seasons and one winning season. Yes, they made the playoffs once and got their asses kicked. That is not a good resume!

I didn't know one playoff game, a loss, was all that. I recant, he da man!

2009-2010 throw out the window for W/L.

2012 he was dealt a shitty hand with the cap and injuries. Plus DEs fell off a cliff.

2011 team looked good, 2013 very talented but turnover problems.

The talent is there.

so basically you want to ignore the 4 losing seasons. Just concentrate on 2011 and 2013 (minus the turnover problems). Typical!

3 losing seasons. 2009/2010 for obvious reasons.

2012 we'll keep but just know he was dealt some crap injury wise and the cap.

Got to look at the whole picture and analyze every scenario at the time.

4 losing seasons....you aren't looking at the whole picture. You are only looking at the "good" seasons (7-9 and 10-6 with a blowout playoff loss)

2009/2010 I know what happened and the expectatoins. 2012 I know the crap hand he was dealt.

2011/2013 is showing Mayhew without hindrances. Tons of talent and many more wins to come.

he was the GM...he picked the cards!

Delmas and Best injury cards he did not pick. Nor the cap problems at that time or the amount of unrestrictred free agents from the Lions own roster (Backus, Hill, Tulloch, Levy, Sammie Lee Hill, Avril)

Still arguing over the Best, Broyles and Titus picks i see. Holy fuckballs, the draft can't come soon enough smdfh

If he settles for Baldwin instead of a 2nd round pick hes admitting to himself and everyone else on the planet that he sucks at drafting.
