Bell should start ahead of Reggie Bush???

Knee jerk reaction from the hometown media.

No way Bell should start over Bush, but Bell has earned some more touches.

Bush is the dynamic guy this offense needs to fire on all cylinders. Bell is a hard runner with some decent hands.

I see Bell developing into more of a power runner we expected Leshoure to be.

Bush makes the oline a lot better on running downs. I like the sets when they are both in there and they run screen plays or use them in other passing routes really throws off the defense. If they dont replace Burleson on the active roster I would say run more two TE or two rb sets. This would make defenses have to play a more straight zone instead of man to man.

Dude went from security guard to breaking 9 tackles and running over safetys. I love feel good stories but I'm not stupid. Don't even have a problem with it, just think his usefulness will run out next time he takes a piss. Sooo get the most out of him before he's suspended.

Don't forget it was Washington. Maybe the worse run defense in the league.

Still only managed 3.2 ypc with all those broken tackles against a bad defense. Not saying he's terrible, but he's better suited at splitting time.

Maybe I'm reading too much into the word starter...does it really make a difference who starts the game at RB?

I understand that you dont believe the Lionscan find a diamond in the rough, because most Lions fans dont, myself included. I just think this guy realized he had to work harder after being overlooked by so many teams. Hope im right.

None at all..

Bush should get more carries though/touches and it shouldn't be close.

As a nobody he's done well. But dude, it was against the 'Skins.

True, but his ability to slip tackles has been apparent against everybody weve faced in the last 19 games.

Or he realized he needed to level the playing field. Either way I'm glad to have on the team and hope he gets paid.

Because his only competition has been LeShoure who's in a dark dark dog house. He should play a role but Bush is the guy who should get more touches.

What does Leshoure being his only competition have to do with his ability to break against better opposition than the Redskins?

It doesn't. But the fact you're having a knee jerk reaction because of 1 game when Bush was out, against the freakin' Redskins.

5 ypc last year too, not a knee jerk reaction. I never said that Bell should start, just that he should get more touches. Not more than Bush...but more than he saw in week 1.

I don't care if joique bell runs for 3 ypc, lesuss runs for 3 ypc or bush runs for 3 ypc......it still equals 3 ypc. Bush should be in for a more dynamic pass game....nobody can run the ball in this offense.

I just don't trust Bush to stay healthy. I think he should only get about 15-20 touches a game.
