Bell should start ahead of Reggie Bush???

Further proof that Mitch either doesnt watch Lions football or is completely clueless. Which is it?

I saw him drop 3 balls against Arizona when we needed him to make those catches. Who cares how many he has, I don't trust him.

Typical reply from you, anyone who disagrees doesn't watch football or is clueless. At least come up with something different.

You dont trust him? Well, genius, you're the ONLY Detroit fan who doesn't. You're all alone on this one, buddy....a fn island for a matter of fact. Bell has been more than solud from day 1 he's donned the Lions logo. Dont give me your trust bullshit. Know what the fuck you're talking about next time you want to tap away at your keys. But for now, you're clueless....sorry.

This isn't a guy that slipped through the cracks, he has been on rosters before and cut. He was out of the league and only got picked up by us out of desperation, now all of a sudden he is running people over and semi beasting? Don't get me wrong I'm glad we have him and he's playing good, maybe I'm just a lions fan and think its too good to be true.

Yeah, he was on a Saints roster but buried behind guys like Chris Ivory, Pierre Thomas and a newly drafted Mark Ingram. As well as Darren Sproles comung over...there was no room for Bell. All players that were supposed to be better at the time but obviouly are not ( except Sproles). I understand what you're saying though...it always seems to good to be true with successful Lions players lol.

Yeah Mitch, you're basing your opinion on one game. He dropped a few in one game.

Theres been games where Calvin has dropped a few as well. You don't trust him either? Or any other receiver ever?

I'll take what Bell is doing spelling Bush anyday.

Most rookies need a few years to develop.

Bell was buried on a Saints roster than had too many good RBs to give looks to an undrafted rookie.

But before that he played on the Bill practice squad, the Eagles, the Colts (5 games), and back to the Eagles.

There is no denying he bounced around for a while looking for a home. He got a shot at real playing time in Detroit with Best having his issues with his cabbage sliding off his plate, and he made the most of it.

He took the coaching he was given, took the opportunity to play, and you could see the transition all year long as he made progress. This year he was finally ready for a real workload.

Lets not forget he was expected to be cut when the Lions drafted Riddick, and instead worked his way up the charts and into a start for the injured featured back last week.

It's not juice, or at least I don't think there is a reason to expect it to be juice. We tell out kids every day that if you work hard in this world, you will make it. But when a guy like Bell works his ass off and makes, we all think he cheated?

Thats a generalization, its just Mitch that said he juiced.
