Bring on the White Sox!!

You would rather see him at 2B then?

Cause Leyland is going to play shithead vs. lefties...pick your poison, in LF or 2B.

Santiago is a switch hitter. If you're going to play a suck ass hitter at 2nd, I'd pick Ramon. But that's the point, he shouldn't play anywhere.

Santiago is not in this conversation.

And he sucks anyways.

Like it or not Raburn is going to get AB's against LHP, until they decide they have seen enough and he is DFA or traded to some moron GM, so when he does play, I'd rather it be LF.

Similar hitters and better defense for Ramon so if the conversation is Raburn, he should be in it.

But that's why some question Leyland because Raburn should not be anyone on a ball field.

That's not a matter of Leyland, that's a question of Dombrowski.

Dombrowski called him up, and keeps him on the roster, Leyland has to play guys on the bench from time to time.

He doesn't have to. Worth hardly plays.

Worth has played more lately then Raburn has.

That's because Raburn blows. Raburn doesn't need to play. Most teams don't use the approach "everyone plays". Guys like Raburn, Worth, Kelly etc should play only when someone needs a rest or because of injury. Or defensive purposes. In fact I rather bring up Castellanos and play him over the Raburn, Worth, Kelly bunch. But that wouldn't do any good because he needs to play every day.

See the problem with that Mitch, is if they don't get even a tiny bit of playing time, when you do need them they are extra worthless, because they are rusty as fuck from never getting game time.

You're seriously getting bent over 1 game in which we won anyways. We routinely run out 1-3 dead spots in the lineup anyways, when someone off the bench replaces one of them what real difference does it make, other then you get to scream how much you hate so and so.

Like everyone I think Mudhen stinks....but I heard this on the radio today...not sure if it is true. Tigers are 6-0 this year with Mudehn batting 2nd. I just thought that was funny.

Against Right-handers, yes.

Against Left-handers, maybe not Raburn, but I'd rather see a righty over Berry.

Berry is not the god people think he is, he's a decent player, but I bet most people would be shocked at his July numbers: .222/.300/.296/.596 [numbers don't include Sundays 1-4 game] so it's not like it's a sin to play someone over him for one damn game against a tough lefthander.

And at some point you have to play Raburn to see if he'll hit [isn't looking good], nothing wrong with starting him against Sale, yes, over Berry.

But I would have batted him 8th.

Ok, Berry isn't a God, but he's super human when it comes to Raburn.....a-thank you!!

Look at the stats and recent gamelogs. Berry has had some big hits, nobody is denying that, But you're blinded if you think he's anymore then a fill-in player.

He's made some big plays on defense, but he's also made some boners too. He's not in Ajax's league when it comes to defense.

Like I said, he's hitting .224 for July, but yeah, go ahead and call him awesome because of a big hit here and there, people used to say that about Inge. Nothing wrong with sitting him against LHP.

Nothing wrong with sitting him vs lefties?? Sure there is. Raburn plays....eeeend scene.
