there are those convenient excuses again. it can't possibly be that we were a good team with some major flaws... nope, we're the best team to ever play the game, but we were screwed by this, that and the other. sound logic.

you keep making excuses for this team instead of facing reality that the Lions, like every team in the league, have flaws that they have to learn how to overcome.

if they can overcome those flaws, as every team has, they can be great. if they can't, they will once again be mediocre.

I highly doubt he really believes the Lions are "holeless", "flawless" and have 0% chance of injury problems or weather issues etc. You'd need more than a few screws loose for that.
