...for now ;)

Listen, we're 11 weeks in. We should have a pretty good feel what this team is all about. Right? Well, most of us do. This has been regurgitated a dozen times or more by me, but this is what it is. This team is a defensive team and there is no denying that. They live and die by their defense and their offense has squeaked by on occasion.
Now, to anyone looking for a turnaround from this offense, you're 100% delusional. Nothing and I mean NOTHING is going to change. Turnaround my ass!! That offense can barely run in a straight line for fuck sakes. Live and die by the D ....
And there's no need to panic. We're still in sole possession of 1st place. I see no implosion in the future. I still see this team winning at least 3-4 more games and possibly winning the North.

Sole possession, based on a tie breaker and we still have a game to play in green bay.

That said I figured this would be a loss, just always frustrating when it is this pathetic on one side of the ball.

The regressions on this offense is disturbing. Looking at our schedule we need our offense to be better eventually. For that I don't like the outlook for the remainder of the season,

We haven't won there since the early 90's Probably have to get the wins elsewhere. Cause it is not happening In Green Bay...

This is why the Lions franchise is what it is. The fan base dares to dream that they can actually reach a peak we haven't seen in however many years (8-2 record), maintain the division lead, and even possibly consider earning a #1 seed.

Instead, the team cannot rise to the occasion, and loses to a team led by Drew Stanton. The offense, which was supposed to be a juggernaut, is laughable. Our franchise QB does not know how to step up against better competition.

This wasn't a free game, this was an opportunity to vault the team to the upper echelon. Instead, they are a good, not great team.

Hope for a wild card and maybe play the NFC south winner. Fluke our offense through the playoffs like Manning or Flacco.

I still see 3-4 wins though. Winning record, hopefully we slide in the playoffs and we go from there.

I have come to terms with this team, especially this offense. They're putrid on that side of the ball. I don't get it and to tell you the truth, I'm sick to death trying to figure it out. I fully believe that they can win football games with this defense and the offense squeaking by. We were fucked over by these refs today. Even the doom and gloom crew know this (please tell me you do). Things are ok right now ...chin up!!! :)

We are all happy that the team is 7-3. You'd be a damn liar if you said you wouldn't be happy with this record at the start of the season.

However, this was such an enormously big missed opportunity. Cardinals lose their starting QB, and they still get it done.

I guess it depends on your expectations. We could have announced ourselves as part of the cream of the NFC today. Instead as of right now we are back to the old potential wildcard also ran. Maybe we can get hot, maybe. If that is okay then yes we are okay. And you know what, if I'm being honest, at the beginning of this season if you told me that's where we'd be I'd take it. Depressing though.

You act like 11-5 would be the end of the world. Still have 12-4 potential

Bring on New England. Bonus win if there ever was one.

I wholeheartedly agree with your post..which pretty much means I must be nuts. I always said I'd take an all defense, no offense team so no complaining now

Next week will be tough but there are wins out there still. My only wish is that Matt and the offence would do something now and again..They were just awful.

Our offense is depressingly bad with all the so called weapons we have..

This D you speak of allowed Drew Stanton to throw for over 300 yards and two TD's. Next week Brady will torch this secondary. I hate to say it but I would not be surprised at all to see a second half collapse just like last year.

Best PPG in the league. 14 points on road. 2 picks. Shut down run. Very good defense. You want a shutout every week?

If we can only put up 6....but I agree this one is not on defense. Defense is sole reason why we are even 7-3.

We could very well lose to New England. I don't think anyone would be shocked by that. While Stanton is not a pro-bowler, overall the Cardinals are a great football team. I'm as upset as anyone we didn't get the win, but 8 other teams have tried to beat Arizona and also failed. We can't get too down over this.

We have 3 easily winnable games at home with Chicago, Tampa, and Minnesota. I would be very very surprised it we didn't go minimum 2-1, with 3-0 being the goal. If we can get those 3 and just grab one more road win (hopefully @Chicago), that's 11-5.

it wasn't that the cards made plays to win with superior talent. It was cassius Vaughn looking like hes never played football before trying to cover a second rate receiver like Michael Floyd or whatever his name is on a pretty horrible throw.

it was our qb who cant throw an out route that I threw when I was 8. The oline didn't play poorly today at all and we had a decent run game. Stafford/Lombardi connection yet again shit the bed. tate was downgraded to a WR that gets 2 targets.....pretty much like every other #2 WR in our offense has been. Stafford was very inaccurate today even on short throws. Why does Riddick need to leap into the air and reach behind him to catch a missle from 5 yards away?....seriously?....why?

I'm not going to disagree with you and say the Lions played a great game, because they clearly didn't. Bad games happen to everybody. Broncos lost to the Rams today for example.

I am not on board with the "second half collapse" theory yet, that's all. I think they have too many winnable games left. We'll see how they do.
