Calm down ....

I think Stafford needs to lean more on Tate and less on CJ. Tate and his ability to pick up YAC is a big part of the reason we have 7 wins. Stafford hardly even looked his way today.

what hasn't been talked about....this was the best Lombardi could come up with coming off a bye. that was it....poor performance vs Miami and looking clueless vs ari. guy cant gameplan....at all.

total hose job by the refs in this game, particularly the booth reviews. but alas, that's the SOP for the NFL regarding the Lions. they do not ever want the Lions to have a contender and will do anything possible to make sure it doesn't happen.

that said, Lombardi and this O just don't work well together. I'm tired of all these "weapons" putting up less than 20 points per game. this is not something Stafford should shoulder 100%. he's the fastest to 20,000 yards...and in past years the O has been top 10 in many categories and now they suck ass??? doesn't make sense. granted the OL is worse this year, but still...weapons??? where???????

defense didn't look so hot early on either. entire team sucked ass in the first quarter.

The offense is a problem...and really it's the play calling...or lack of play calling...whatever you want to label it.

why would you want him to throw to the guy who caught the 2 targets thrown his way for 20+ yd average? are you nuts??? they have more important things to do than win football games, apparently they need to make sure CJ gets his 1000 yards for the season...or...something.

Lombardi needs to tell Stafford to use Tate as his #1 and that will setup bigger plays for CJ, plain and simple defenses are more concerned about CJ than Tate and that will not change until Tate is the one burning the D for 300 yards and 5 TDs. start feeding Tate and don't fucking stop until they finally relax coverage on CJ. really don't understand why that is such a difficult concept.

You guys don't even know what plays were called or what looks they saw/audibles used. I always laugh when people blame play calling like they knew the play and the defensive look.

They manned up on tate and CJ almost the entire game....if we cant make them pay its on the playcalling and the qb. Or are you saying tate and cj aren't shit when covered by cromartie and Peterson?

agree...im definitely not on the defense played well enough to win bus. Were lucky Stanton kept throwing us the ball in the first half or it woulda been 24-0.

They could have gotten more open. Calvin could have caught that deep ball that hit him in the chest. Protection could have been much better allowing Tate to be targeted. The short yardage runs could have extended two drives (that's just poor blocking). Refs properly spotting the ball extends two drives (Sims recovery and Ebron first down), Sims dumb penalty killed a drive.

So far this year # 1 pick Ebron is such a bust... Can't block worth shit...Finally gets some targets and commits a penalty on a first down...Maybe he will get it but the way this offense is not progressing my hopes are fading... The team did not need to draft Ebron with other needs..

So I guess Matt went to a running play twice after the INT on the 19.. Come on... Those were putrid play calls and Matt is either to dumb to check out of them or just cant.. Maybe one running play.. But two...with hardly any time left in the half was just awful..
Throw it in the damn end zone...

That was a dogshit overturn on Ross punt return where Lions ended up on own 1 instead of midfield.

Why is it the Calvin rule was not applicable there? Guys momentum was carrying him into the end zone so he threw the ball back into field of play instead of it being a touch back. His "football move" was to throw it back into the field of play. Ross made a brilliant play there, but instead the NFL fucks over Detroit again.

And don't even get me started on how the ball was not spotted at the 9 but instead the call was confirmed so spot was at the 10 instead...but they sure had the spot at the 1st down marker at the end of the game, didn't they!

refs deserve a fucking negative point evaluation for their bullshit in this game, and that includes the fuckers back in HQ who fucked up the reviews.

The refs sure did make it known we were going to be fucked today... Early and often.. But it bothered me that when the camera panned to Caldwell I wanted him to be pissed off and he just seemed to take it....If your going to lose let the refs know what they were doing is unacceptable...

even zona fans who aren't total d-bags have to be admitting the refs helped them win this game.

that said, Caldwell needs to get some fucking balls and go for it on 4th and inches. went for it on 4th down vs Miami, but vs zona didn't do it until the game was on the line.

oh, and another thing...STOP CALLING TIMEOUT EARLY IN THE HALF! I'd rather take the 5 yard delay penalty than waste a timeout trying to save 5 yards. timeouts are more precious than gold but lets go ahead and piss them away to save 5 fucking yards. that is a viral case of stupid that has permeated the NFL and any coach or QB who does that needs to be bitch slapped for their stupidity. take the fucking penalty and regroup, but save that timeout damn it!

aaahhh....ok,, I feel better now...thanks for letting me vent guys lol

I woulda thrown the challenge flag after zona won the challenge on the punt being downed. when the ref walked over I woulda just said "youre a fucking idiot"

Went from having a coach that was over excitable and undisciplined to a coach that is too mellow. I'd like to see the coach somewhere in the middle

That's the thing about Caldwell. His temperament is fine when you're winning. Fans get pissed real quick though when you're losing. The same thing happened in Indy.

cause he doesn't do anything to manage the game. arians is there in the refs face making his argument.....Caldwell is standing there like a dufus not talking to anyone. Theres no way youd be able to tell a HC that he had possession of the ball when the fucker threw the fucking ball away lol...that is the opposite of possession.
