Can we stop ripping on JT Floyd

Jenkins had a horrible game with numerous drops....had little to do with floyds coverage imo. The announcers agreed and talked to that point numerous times throughout the game.

Did they also tell you to think that the interception was a gift?

Chris Spielman told me that last play at Iowa was good defense even if he "may have gotten there a touch early."

lol watch the pick again. It was a gift overthrow.

I did. The throw was a little off, but Floyd would have made a play even if it was a perfect pass. Great recognition, great break, great catch. 2:25

agree to disagree. A good qb puts that ball to the outside and floyd has no chance. You see the WR even start to dive back down the field cause the ball is so over thrown. If you guys watched any michigan football this year then you wouldnt be debating how good of a player floyd is.....hes been consistently one of the worst players on the defense.

Yeah, this was the first Michigan game I've ever watched, but that's beside the point.

What is the point is whether the QB made a good throw or not, you said this...."when it happens ALLLLL the time with a 10 yd cushion and the ball is in the WRs hands and hes not even out of his back pedal yet. Ya he sucks. Read and react....he has none of these things"....and the video proves you dead wrong.

The reason the QB didn't make a good throw is because we had started blitzing the shit out of him and he was getting happy feet. Pressure from Mattison's playcall causing a disruption and forcing a bad/early throw.

Imagine that ....a Michigan defense that actually causes the other team to make mistakes and turnovers!

lol that play was obviously not what i was referring to. It was a bad throw....like i sad watch the receiver as he jumps toaward the ball....put it outside floyd doesnt get to it. and there are numerous times floyd has given too big of a cushion and not even out of his back pedal when the ball is caught. i dont have the memory space to go save and post all of them.

Ok, I'll have to remember that ALLLLLL the time only applies to SOMMMMME times.

He fucking fell.

Is that an excuse because if it is its probably the worst one i've ever heard..

I know, I know. If you offer something different from your opinion, it's an "excuse." So I guess by your definition, then yes, I've offered an excuse. Sometimes, if you watch football enough, you'll see the feet of a DB get tangled in the process of covering a WR. It's different from falling b/c you got your ankles broken on a juke move or because you opened your hips to the outside. But it's a difficult distinction for some to make so maybe I should be more patient.

But I'm sure even you would have to agree that it's tough to cover a guy downfield when your feet get tangled up with the WR and you go down. Perhaps I'm wrong for thinking that.

He's not a bad player. I just love making fun of him. And after this thread last week I couldn't resist.

Man! He almost gave up the game-winning td on that blown pass by Miller

Then he bodyslams MIller...

He may be an adequate corner, but from what I saw from the major plays/Miller overthrows, he was beaten like a drum today.

yah the entire 2ndary did not have a good day

good thing we can say that after a victory

Its not just on him Countess, Thomas, Woolfolk and Kovacs had either blown coverage, many missed tackles or bonehead plays.
