Cap Casualites

His combined stats for those three games were:

70/120 (58.33%), 809 yds, 5 TDs, 3 INT, 82.3 rating. So a bit below his season average. Those stats would put him at 26th in the league. That is not good. 2 of those three teams (NO and ATL) were the worst two defenses in the league.

I think you don't understand the QB level of this day and age. Yes if this was early 2000s, that would of been good. But in 2014 it is not good.

22 and 23 points. 17 against Minnesota missing 2 FGs. Plenty of points and wins. Tate had monster days.

TEs were out, Calvin was out. Stafford did well still. Two of those picks were not his fault. Thompson bad hands and Fuller slipped against Atlanta. Stafford played well without Calvin and TEs.

He was 67% against Saints. Good second half againt Atlanta and had 325 yards. Did plenty at Minnesota with no picks.

5 TDS 1 int truly for him. Great job by Stafford.

Atl. and NO give up over 26 points a game yet we score 23 and 22 and that's considered good :lmao:

So yes if you cherry pick one stat from each game, that are completely different for each of the three, you can kind of justify he had a almost decent day against two of the worst defenses.

You forgot one of the TDs was a result of a very short field and one was a short pass Tate turned into a TD, so really only 3 TDs (in your skewed stat world), possible less, I don't have the desire to go back and watch the other TDs to see how they happened, because it doesn't matter. When everything points to being average at best, you are average at best.

Just like how everything points to you being a delusional homer, means you are a delusional homer.

Which in turn makes me crazy for trying to talk logically to you.

Tate's TD against Saints was not a short pass. Intermediate pass.

Game winning TD to Fuller in the clutch. Stafford deserves a short field for having no run game, Calvin, Ebron, Fauria out. And also for leading that long drive and then Thompsons messing up in the redzone.

I'm the only who actually watches the game. Calling Tate a short pass is delusional by you, you missing how many great drives Stafford had going 67% against the Saints is delusional by you.

at Vikings there were 3 sacks, 2 missed field goals and two holding penalties that killed a ton of drives. Stafford did well. Got us points and position for more points.

Saints game 67%, game winning TD, good throw to Tate to spark the comeback.

Falcons game 325 yards, 22 second half. Fuller slip on the int on a good drive not his fault. All without Calvin, run game, or TEs.

Stafford is a damn good QB. You underrate him severely. He'll be here for a long time. I'm getting the last laugh on that one with more 11-5 seasons to come.

Atlanta game. 4 first half drives. Offensive holding killed first drive. Fuller slipped killed 4th drive. Detroit defense was torched for 21 points keeping our offense off the field.

Second half 22 points. FG drive, TD drive on a huge 3rd and 25 throw, FG drive after int for short field, TD drive, FG drive. Stafford was perfect in the second half.

Second half against Saints. TD drive, 3 and out, great drive that Thompson messed up in redzone, TD pass to Tate, and TD pass to Fuller. Almost perfect in second half against Saints. Stafford is a winner.

67% on the day. No Calvin, Ebron, Fauria and Bush limited then out.

It was like 7-8 yards on a 70+ yard TD reception. I consider anything less than 10 a short pass.

That is not a short pass. That is a tough pass. It was a good pass and great play by Tate. Stafford did a good job.

5 yard or less is short. Doesn't mean it's easy either. Could be tight coverage.

You are all fools trying to take things away from Stafford when he does a good job.

Hughes is trying to take out Tate's five best games and then compare him to Benjamin.

Stafford is good, Mayhew is good, Caldwell is good, Tate is good, Calvin is good, Reiff is good, Warford is good, Bell is solid, Riddick is a good receiver, Waddle is solid when healthy. Swanson and Ebron have talent and now can develop in year 2 at center and TE. This can be a top 5 offense in year 2 of the system.

Get Suh and Mathis back. Top 5 defense.

Super Bowl caliber. We are the better team than the 13 teams we face this year and equal to Packers and Seattle for the other 3.

/removed blah blah blah from LKP.

So you're saying Stafford forced a short, difficult pass to Tate when he should have looked for a better option? Poor decision making. Great on Tate for bailing him out.

Great decision and pass. And great move by tate. Watch the tape. Stafford did well
