Chris Houston out?

It has little to do with the talent of the guy catching the ball.....more to do with the QB throwing it.

So to use it in an argument about Pettigrews talent is stupid.

When the guy throwing bit hits the guy catching it directly in the hands...and the guy catching it drops it. That has everything to do with the guy ....NOT catching it. hence...pettidrop.

My point was the ratings that site provided are stupid and don't have much to do with the talent of the player.....we all know Pettigrew drops passes.

Don't waste your time. Some super homers on here. In the face of insurmountable evidence, starting first and foremost with our pathetic record, they will defend these bums all day long.

Who am I defending.....what is this insurmountable evidence you provided?

This is the most respected advanced metrics site out there, although they didn't take into account that he chips on ends and run blocks, you know something every tight end does. I'll take their facts over the opinion of someone named booger. Look at the list retard, it pretty much is a dead on ranking of tight ends in the NFL, staring with Gronk as no 1. Patheticgrew is dead last. Right where he belongs. No one cares that he chips on ends, we could grab a blocking tight end of the waver wire for that.

So you think that sites list is an accurate account of Pettigrews (or anyones for that matter) talent as a receiver? Not just a bad year or a bad year by his QB.....but is overall ability to catch the ball/run routes/get open?

You're fuckin retarded.

i dont think pettirew is a talented receiver. catching 80 6 yd passes doesnt make you talented. dropping 10+ others every year definitely doesnt make you very talented.

Personally I like Patheticgrew over Pettidrop.

we draft rd 1 blocking TEs and send him out on pass routes every play. kinda lik ewe draft bentley then say we want to move to bigger CBs. We have no identity in anything we do. We want a speed back that can catch the ball so we go get leshoure and bell once Best goes down. Theres just no consistency in our plan from one year to the next. THAT....is whats dumb.

Not gonna answer the question....got it. Dumb ass rankings. Dumb ass post.

Offense geared towards Pettidrop?

2009-22nd most targets
2010-3rd most targets
2011-2nd most targets
2012-7th most targets

Down year? Te rank:

2009-35/47 in offensive production
2010-20/47 in offensive production
2011-39/49 in offensive production
2012-49/49 in offensive production

More about qb than te? Qb rank

2009-36/47
2010-16/47
2011-5/47
2012-7/47

I didn't answer you ridiculous question because the answer should be obvious/embarrassing for you.

Schwartz didn't make the comment about bigger CB until AFTER we drafted Bentley.....and what is wrong with saying they want a few bigger corners?

Bently was drafted to be a nickle this year and got forced into being a starter. He wasn't awful for a rookie. But was overmatched against bigger WR.

I will agree with you about Pettigrew. He is not in the correct offense for his skill set. He would thrive in a more pro-style system.

You're precious rankings have Larry Fitzgerald as the WORST WR in the NFL....with a ranking LOWER than Pettigrews.

Still think it's accurate?

Larry fitzgeralds qb(s)

38/39 Linley
35/39 Skelton
29/39 Kolb

Patheticgrew

7/39 Stafford

Your own argument toolbox.

Fitzgerald

3rd in 2008 Warner
11th 2009 Warner
10th in 2011 Kolb et al.

I'd say its a pretty good metric.

Look back genius.....the argument I made ALL ALONG is that those rankings are based on the QB throwing the ball.

Post #91, #93, #103 AND #108 I said the same thing!!

Fuck you're stupid.

Yes and the argument applies to Fitzgerald but not to your boy.

With the rankings you said you need to take into account qb, down year, and offense. Taking all those things into account Pettigrew is still one of the worst offensive producers in the league. Don't muddy the waters, with your outbursts.
