CJ Mosely suspended from team

This definitely hurts, who do his snaps go to? Reid? Who else do we even have on the roster?

Can we open up talks to resign him over his break?

Mosley was suspended for 2 weeks. Does that include the bye week or does it mean 2 games? With Fairley down, we really need another healthy DT in week 10.

That's a good question that I've been asking too. I think only Caldwell and the staff currently know the answer though.

Mosely is back after the BYE. Two week suspension from team, not two games.

He won't practice Miami week though. So we'll see if he plays.

FROM ESPN

On Tuesday, Caldwell would not clarify whether Mosley's two-week suspension meant two games or two weeks -- essentially whether or not he would be available for Week 10 against Miami.

"I think the statement stands on its own," Caldwell said. "If you take a look at it, read through it and kind of glean from it what you'd like. But we said two weeks and in two weeks, he'll return."

Mosley was suspended and sent home from London the day before the Lions faced the Falcons in Week 8, so if two weeks is taken to the letter, Mosley would be eligible to return the day before Detroit's game against Miami.

Sounds like an "SEC" suspension. Two weeks once Fairly went down!

Came out that he was suspended for smoking so much weed that he set off the smoke alarm in the London hotel. Fuckin moron...

I was thinking that myself. I thought the NFL could also suspend them..

It just seems like the Lions would have had to report this to the NFL and the NFL would have to be the one to issue the suspension. Unless they did report it and the NFL accepted the suspension as is.

It also worries me that he'll serve this 2 week (or 2 game) suspension and then test positive on a drug test and get suspended again.
