Confusing Things That Leyland Does

My entire point was that you saying Raburn and Young are equal offensively because they have the same oWAR is equally as absurd as saying two hitters with the same number of HRs are the equal despite one having twice as many PAs.

Then you have a hard time making a point? I mean come on, the 100 home run mark made zero sense..

This thread is hilarious!!!

Both are horrendous as fielders. Picking either one of them over each other is retarded to say the least. Flip a coin, that's what that idiot Leyland probably does.

No.

They simply cannot be compared as fielders (outfielders), because Delmon is that much worse.

What's hilarious is the few people who pop in now and again and try to say Delmon is not that bad of a fielder, in some weird attempt to pretend he's a better player than he is.

I really don't understand how you are struggling to grasp my point.

It's not complicated, and it's pretty straight forward.

You could have said per at bat, KBurn has more home runs. Easy. But coming up with if one has 100 home runs in 1500 at bats and one has 100 home runs in 3000 at bats blah blah blah? When its not even close to true..

We all know kburn is a better home run hitter.

...good idea, now nobody will know exactly when you realized you were a jackass, and maybe one or two will think you were kidding all along!

...seriously?

Please tell me you're just trolling and you don't seriously think my post had anything to do with who was a better HR hitter between Raburn and Young.

I'm going to add this even though most probably won't agree.

Removing Benoit against Josh Hamilton to go against Phil Coke in the top of the 8th in a one run game.

The reason: Benoit is a fastball changeup pitcher. Hamilton gets torched almost exclusively by quality changeups from right handers. Bad decision IMO.

I don't think Benoit should have pitched at all today. 33 pitches yesterday.

despite an uneventful outing, valverde probably shouldnt have pitched either after his long outing last night.
