Cooter is good

When one OC gets fired it's natural to see a scoring spike. But Cooter hasn't done anything to warrant him staying.

I disagree. I think the offense has improved in many aspects under JBC. Stafford at 66% completion....105.4 rating....9 TD and 1 pick.

100 yards rushing in 3 straight games (some of by #9)

Not saying it's a great offense....but the eye test, IMO, says it looks much better.

This isn't about Matt. The fact is we all complained when we had leads only to do nothing when Lombardi was here. Against GB, the same thing happened. Infact the first GB game we almost gave that game away. He might be a great OC but my eye test says I can't see him earning a spot.\

End of the day, if Caldwell stays Cooter probably stays. Caldwell gone, Cooter is probably gone.

I think cooter came in at a perfect time for him. Come in when the team is fighting for their playoff lives. Get 3 of your first 4 at home. In 4 games 1 game can greatly skew stats. Lions destroyed philly, so they deserve credit for that. The other 3 games have not been impressive offensively. They averaged 19.6 PPG which would be good for 28th in the league.

They have scored 5 TDs in those 3 games, 40% of the drives came on a very short field (17 yards an 1 Yard).

I think Mitch is right. If Caldwell stays Cooter does. I will not be upset if both walk.

In addition to the Cooter timing (lol), he came on board when the schedule took a major swing down in terms of talent.

Lol come on LKP. At least pretend not to have the same flow to your sentences.

Seattle kc Denver and Arizona have good defenses. Period

Vikings did but they have a ton of injuries now. Green Bay is actually 6th in ppg. Lions scored 23 on them and 18 in a win.

I would say even not playing lions they are top 10 defenses

18 points was the third lease vs GB, 17 against Chicago and the Lowly 49'ers which is actually higher than their offense average scoring. The second game, 2 FG's after the first quarter. Do you not see the problem with that?

They don't know how to close teams out, whether it's Lombardi or Cooter.

Come on man. You are LKP. Only he ever said "proves this." and speaks in fragmented sentences.

So? We aren't arguing my identity. This is a pretty bad attempt dude. You can do better than this.

My bad. I blame my eyes. But one thing I know and I believe others have basically said it, but who signs up for a new site and acts like this?

I'm curious how you found out about DSF. And, it was asked before, what are your thoughts on Matt Stafford?

:yay:
