What you bolded in #2696, the part about men losing their testicles also losing their ability to read maps and do math, sounds like a joke that I would make if I had the opportunity.

I made a joke just now that got on the radio. We have another recall election and this one is going to turn into a circus just like the last one, and there?s this dude running for governor who is using a bear in commercials, and in an interview, he was quoted as saying during the commercial shooting, he demonstrated how well the bear had been cared for by claiming that he had kissed the bear.

So I texted the host of the show, John Phillips on KABC 790 Los Angeles, ?did the bear give consent?? And a minute later John used it on the radio.

that's pretty solid

That?s nice.

I?ve never tried shrooms.

When I get to Mars maybe I will.

I?m sure they would be out of this world.

I have no doubt they would get me spaced.

just don't eat too many at once; you'll have a bad time. and make sure you're with someone cool, who can calm you down if you start to freak out. so I've been told.

Solid advice.

I?ll pick Matt Damon.

If anyone knows how to be cool on Mars, it would be him.

So, I watched the much ballyhooed Elon Musk/Mother?s Day edition of SNL.

The cold open was every cast member hugging their mother ?for the first time in over a year? - a little gimmicky but it was kind of cute and sweet, and there were a few good jokes. The opening came to a close with all the cast members huddled together with other and their mother, all bunched up together on the stage.

So the show continued and there were a number of jokes that weren?t very funny and there were some that were pretty funny ? but the funniest part ? and it?s not really funny in a good way ? is that as usual, the cast once again ended up together on the stage as they always do to close the show - except this time, unlike during the opening, everyone was wearing a mask.

WTF?!!

probably an honest mistake - someone, maybe Lorne Michaels was probably like "oh shit, we weren't wearing masks for the opening. Let's get that fixed for the closing." And the problem with live television, as I'm sure you know is you can't go back and reshoot the opening. It had to be something like that because politically neutral SNL would never engage in BS virtue signaling plus the audience is way too smart to fall for shenanigans like that.

So...a wardrobe malfunction?

...

This board should have a filter that cuts off any post that includes the words "I," "watched," and "SNL" or "Saturday Night Live" in a sentence, auto-replies "I'm sorry that happened to you." and deletes the rest of the original post.

so in this case, it would read:

Tinsel: "So, I watched the much ballyhooed Elon Musk/Mother?s Day edition of SNL.
(REMAINDER OF POST DELETED)."

Detroit Sports Forum correcto-bot: "I'm sorry that happened to you."

That?s pretty funny.

So I?ll acknowledge the humor and not rebut it.

But if I were to have, it would have been something like this:

Some people might want to read the post.

Those who don?t want to can choose to not.

exactly - people fall for that one all the time.

Or could it be - and hear me out on this - that they had done the scientific and arithmetic calculations based on evidence and research, and concluded that right at the time of the closing scene, the collective viral load would have reached toxic levels in the theater, and everyone would have perished, had it not been for the life-protecting masks?

if it's the case that they were following the science that closely, I may have to retract my "politically neutral" comment from earlier since we all know, only the left ever (and always) follows the science. Also, if that's the case the SNL studio probably needs a new air handling system.

It appears that this $300 extra a week is another way to get employers to pay employees more money. Workers aren't coming back to work because they are getting paid $13 an hour to do nothing. Biden's answer: President Joe Biden urged businesses to boost pay for workers to spur labor growth in a speech Monday, saying, "Americans want to work."

We went to 3 restaurants over the past 5 days, and all three were so under staffed that they had to turn away customers. One was probably only 30% occupied and they had a 2 hour wait due to being under staffed.
