Coronainsanity

Ironically, you can be an anti-vaxx idiot now because your parents weren't anti-vaxx idiots.

Our parents simply never questioned doctors.

VAERS captures fewer than 1% of all vaccine reactions and deaths according to the government?s own study by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.

Excerpt from the link:

"Adverse events from drugs and vaccines are common, but underreported. Although 25% of ambulatory patients experience an adverse drug event, less than 0.3% of all adverse drug events and 1-13% of serious events are reported to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Likewise, fewer than 1% of vaccine adverse events are reported. Low reporting rates preclude or slow the identification of ?problem? drugs and vaccines that endanger public health."

Back then they knew how to shut up and accept professional advice.

Back then, family doctors were charging $6.00 for an office visit. EDIT: And our family doctor was like a member of the family. He was outstanding.

Who has hijacked your account?

that's only going to kill most of the fat and elderly idiots and they're going to die sooner than most anyway. The rest of us anti-vax idiots will maybe have the sniffles for a few days and be around to annoy you for the rest your lives - it will be especially annoying if there are long-term side effects from the vaccine all you pro-vax geniuses took for a virus that didn't really pose a threat to you.

Interesting that you appear so certain than no malady, mishap, or misfortune will ever befall you. I remember when I thought that I was relatively invulnerable...back when I was ~21. Didn't last though.

But for an example...Ernest Borgnine lived well into his 90s...and I would have never consiidered him to be svelte in build. In fact when he starred in The Poseidon Adventure movie back in '72, I thought that he was getting too old to be in those types of movies...little did I know.

that's not even remotely close, and I've not said anything that would indicate I think anything of the sort. This should be painfully obvious to everyone but I feel compelled to post it for your benefit - this vaccine, like every other vaccine isn't a safeguard against all maladies, mishaps or misfortunes - vaccinated people will still be vulnerable to getting hit by a bus.

Also, your Borgnine example is completely irrelevant - a fat guy lived to be 90+, good for him but I'm still not going to eat cheesecake everyday. There is one thing we can agree on...little do you know, indeed.

because doctors are infallible and there's no way an untested vaccine rushed to market for a virus that isn't a threat to me would have any negative long term side effects - because DOCTORS! That's brilliant.

"fat and elderly idiots and they're going to die sooner than most anyway"

uh-huh...spin it anyway that you want, b/c spinning is SOP for what you do on this forum.

ah, I forgot to say "fat and elderly idiots and they're going to die sooner than most anyway, except Ernest Borgnine." But even that would be wrong because Ernest Borgnine's case refutes all the evidence that fat and elderly people have higher mortality rates than people that aren't fat and/or elderly. It's not a fact, it's just Spartanmack spin. Good one genius. Well played.

Its really social/fiscal Darwinism....just eschew science and medicine, b/c some could die young(er) or become poor beggar invalids, but many would live long and prosperous lives...survival of the fittest and fortunate. It should be a conservative mantra (but for that evo name)...along with "personal responsibility" (yours, not mine).

The small cemetery located behind the RC church in Detroit that they originally built in the 1830s, lies my ancestors, the majority of whom have gravestones noting that they passed of "consumption" (tuberculosis) ...not unlike COVID 19, since it affected their respiratory systems and killed them. Good thing that acquiring TB does't spell death any longer.

I never knew why they built that church in the woods almost 7 miles from downtown...until recently...it was b/c when they first came to Detroit in 1830, they arrived in the middle of a cholera epidemic. Now THAT is what I call "social distancing"!!

Borgnine was only ONE notable example, b/c if I posted anyone else (or many more) who were unknown, but similar to him, no one would know who the fuck they were or he/she was. And this is a text-based internet forum, no one "says" anything whatsoever....ya arrogant smartass.

Everyone??

This forum has like only a handful of DSF members remaining who still post here with any regularity. But you often post like there is some kind of hidden audience lurking in the background who are reading your every word...lol.

Just out of curiosity is there anyone else here that refuses to covid vaccine? Or am I the only one?

First you interpret me not getting the covid vaccine as me feeling impervious to virtually everything now you?re parsing what I meant by ?everyone? saying I?m inflating the number of posters on DSF - and I?m the one that?s the spin master. That?s rich.

Haven?t gotten it and have no plans to - will ultimately depend on how difficult these idiots make life for the unvaccinated. A friend who used to do drug research for a major pharmaceutical company and has followed this really closely refuses to take it. Said she will move her family to Fla or Texas if NJ makes it mandatory.

I suspect it?s going to get very difficult to resist the coming medical tyranny, we are already hearing about privileges for the vaccinated and continued face diapers for those not, shaming will come next followed by shunning, it won?t end at a single vaccine it?ll become yearly with proof of vaccine bracelets, followed by digital tattoos. it?s a hill I?m willing to die on, will also be moving out of MI if I need to. SC will be my first option if at all possible, ever fiber of my being tells me to avoid covid vaccine like a real plague. I?m not ignoring my gut on this one

I really gotta see that movie - I love Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel. It?s been something about watching a cartoon, I don?t know.

It wasn?t directly from old Joe but actually the CDC; and it?s purely political. Here, Chris Cuomo warns of a potential red team tsunami in the 2022 midterms if team blue doesn?t back off of its coronainsanity.

That interview was the night before yesterday, the day the CDC all but suspended mitigations for vaccinated people.

I count myself fortunate in seeing Wicked with Menzel and Chenoweth still performing it, so I completely get your affinity for her.

Bell is a strong actress IMO and I was pleasantly surprised how well she sings in Frozen since all the hype was around Menzel singing Let It Go.

Plus there is Kristoff voiced by Jonathan Groff who was King George in Hamilton...and Josh Gad voicing Olaf was solid.

Overall I think you would like it. The strong appeal to little girls is obvious, yet from a male perspective it is still a very good movie and worth watching IMO.

Just don't wear a mask so you can enjoy eating and drinking while watching! ;P (had to tie in the coronainsanity to my post)

Mazel.

Thus far the vaccines have arguably been miraculously effective - but they don?t come wit zero risk.

As I said before, I chose the vax exclusively on the recommendation of my doc of a quarter century whom I trust and love. Her medical opinion was my slight risk of Covid was slightly higher than my risk of the vax.

That said, I thoroughly enjoyed going into places of business yesterday without my mask and saying ?oh I am vaccinated,? even though still technically California hasn?t dropped its mask mandate.

What good is getting the ?fuck you? vaccination if you don?t take the opportunity to say ?fuck you??

better than being an ignorant dumbass - like you. Give us (all of us - and by that I'm implying there are thousands of readers on DSF following this thread, not just a handful) some more examples that make your case or disprove mine. I'd love to hear how these annecdotes trump the mountains of data that seems to indicate elderly and/or fat people have higher mortality rates than people that aren't old and/or fat.

For you conservatives or libertarians or contrairbertatians or Hollywood contraibertarians who may or may not have been drinking recently who like Ben Shapiro - he?s very pro the Covid 19 vax.

Just in case anyone was wondering.
