Coronainsanity

For you conservatives or libertarians or contrairbertatians or Hollywood contraibertarians who may or may not have been drinking recently who like Ben Shapiro - he?s very pro the Covid 19 vax.

Just in case anyone was wondering.

spartanmack must not have watched Ben's latest youtube video yet

Ben's latest youtube video yet

I don?t watch his YouTube videos. I listen to him on the radio when there?s not a Detroit Tiger baseball game on at the time.

He?s funny. I agree with him on some stuff, disagree on some stuff...

I agree with him on the COVID-19 vaccination - it should be everybody?s individual choice to get it or not.

And I chose to get the vaccine, just like he did.

I think he?s the first person I?m aware of who described the effectiveness of the vaccines as ?miraculous,? interesting because I didn?t know that Jews believed in miracles. What the hell.

I watch some videos, I mostly read his articles on DailyWire. I'm aware of his position on the vaccine and I say good for Ben, I'm glad he has the choice to get vaccinated or not. And I don't doubt for a second that the vaccine is effective against COVID. But so is my immune system - at my age and overall health, it's probably just as effective for me as the vaccine and there are no long term side effects of relying on my own immune system.

You bring up a good point, I wonder if Ben would call it a miracle if Jesus had developed the vaccine.

Back then they knew how to shut up and accept professional advice.

yeah, like all those pregnant women who shut up and accepted the professional advice to take Thalidomide in the 70s or Bendectin in the 80s or Ondansetron in the 2000s for morning sickness. I wonder how they feel about accepting professional advice around untested drugs each time they look at their malformed children. Until there is a proven track record for the side effects of these vaccines and I'm at a point in my life where the risk of COVID is greater than the risk of known or unknown side effects, I'll rely on my highly effective immune system.

End Game

It will make COVID seem like pest control. Which, actually, what it is, because we are the pests.

That this was actually even written down and proposed is the real threat to people everywhere.

In the coming years, biodigital technologies could be woven into our lives in the way that digital technologies are now. Biological
and digital systems are converging, and could change the way we work, live, and even evolve as a species.

More than a technological change, this biodigital convergence may transform the way we understand ourselves and cause us to redefine what we consider human or natural.

Biodigital convergence may profoundly impact our economy, our ecosystems, and our society. Being prepared to support it, while managing its risks with care and sensitivity, will shape the way we navigate social and ethical considerations, as well as guide policy and governance conversations.

I used to work out with Jeff Goldblum.

Okay, we went to the same gym and once in a while worked out at the same time.

We?d make eye contact and nod hello.

I?m counting it.

Oh - Lou Diamond Phillips too.

Different gym.

Different period of life.

Still counts.

Apparently someday people won't need to work out. Or be forced to. Yet to be determined what is a larger control factor.

Hmmm.

Don?t exactly know how this could be worked into a Peleton commercial.

Maybe more one of them newfangled Billy Blanks commercials that are actually ads for casualty insurance.

It will not be as passively persuasive as a mere Peleton Commercial. It will be a searing pain in the temple that is alleviated by exercise, or triggered by exercise.

Biodigital convergence has been happening for decades, often also known as biohacking.

It has its origins way back, beginning with using things like walking sticks, which evolved into peg legs, evolving into the blades used today by Para-Olympic sprinters, and in the future will one day be a 3D bio-printed leg that is attached, unless one prefers a bio-mechanical device.

Pacemakers and artificial heart valves are additional examples of ways this has evolved.

Then you have people who are more aggressively and willingly taking on biohacking projects with their body. From the guy who used tech to provide him a way to change his eyes so he can have "night vision" to the first person officially recognized as a cyborg after implanting a device into his brain allowing him to finally see colors. There has been increased willingness to imbed RFID chips into hands to open secured doors and log into computers.

Elon Musk pushing NeuroLink tech to compete against Zuckerberg who is pushing for a pure robotic replacement for work currently performed by people.

The 'ethics' of all these things often comes down to individual needs and willingness to expand beyond what is currently viewed acceptable while putting their biohacks online to increase the 'cool' factor amongst the youth which makes it all more accepted by mainstream society in the long term.

The biohacking element that is all vaccines has been vetted for years. The fact COVID vaccines newly developed and willingly injected by easily 50% of society is evidence that biohacking can be easily pushed into main stream society when the proper pressure points are applied. Those who comply will be rewarded...able to go around unmasked and live 'normal' lives while those who do not will be shunned and ridiculed through peer pressure and not extended privileges that the Vaxed members are allowed to enjoy.

As the Borg always said, "Resistance is futile!" because those who do not adjust to the 'new' will eventually find themselves without jobs and die off while those who comply will survive and be provided opportunities for all the benefits that come with compliance, much of which is easily done through willing adherence to Materialism or through the desire and necessity for basics like food and clean water to drink.

One either continues to adapt, or dies. Being willing to die in order to not conform will not hinder these advancements and will not make one into some kind of martyr because the general population views such resistance as futile, or being stupid, or whatever helps them feel righteous in perpetuating their belief that their biohacking is the correct choice. As the old saying goes, "ALL the COOL kids are doing it!"

I don?t know.

I don?t think taking the coronavax has changed me very much in any way.

I don?t feel any different.

I don't get so worked up about this stuff.

We were supposed to have self-driving cars and trucks by now too, and some of the companies that hyped it have quietly sold off their divisions, and others are going that direction.

elon musk and those like him are more talk than action.

these "THE FUTURE IS NOW" type press releases are just hooks to reel in more dumb investor and venture capital money.

They rap it better than I can say it:

So anyway, the vaccines apparently aren?t as effective in California as they are in the rest of the country, but they will be on June 15, according to California Governor Newsom.

Because, you know, science.

Like this.

What We Know

COVID-19 vaccines are effective at preventing COVID-19 disease, especially severe illness and death.

COVID-19 vaccines reduce the risk of people spreading COVID-19.

What We?re Still Learning

How effective the vaccines are against variants of the virus that causes COVID-19. Early data show the vaccines may work against some variants but could be less effective against others.

How well the vaccines protect people with weakened immune systems, including people who take immunosuppressive medications.

How long COVID-19 vaccines can protect people.

Seems appropriate for a "vaccine" that was rushed to market and has no approval.

Sounds about right.

But we also now know that the vaccines won?t be as effective in California as they are in the rest of the country until June 15.

And we know this because Governor Newsom said it today.

Because of, you know, science.

Maybe the vaccines will work better than expected, and COVID-19 will just kinda fade away over the rest of the year?

You know what Bismarck said, "God has a special providence for fools, drunks, and the United States of America."

Was von Bismarck an anti vaxxer like Jenny McCarthy?

Her husband does a pretty good job on that show Blue Bloods. Bridgette Monaghan plays a character who is his character?s sister. They bicker a lot.

I think if the Covid fades away for the USA it will fade away everywhere. Typically these things have had the tendency to do that throughout time.

Because of, you know, science.

It's the same "science" that caused a 180-degree change in the "truth" -- in the span of 48 hours -- of whether or not vaccinated people should still wear masks or not by the CDC director, Rochelle Walensky.

?It was just Tuesday when you sat before a Senate committee and you were adamant then that masking and social distancing should remain in place,? ABC?s Martha Raddatz stated, pointing to a Washington Post report saying the mask decision had already been made at that point.

?When it was finally announced on Thursday, it came as a huge surprise, and it left some administration officials, doctors, and businesses off guard. So, why so suddenly, and why did you not tell the Senate panel what you had decided?? she wondered.

RESPONSE: (can you believe this crap?)

?We now have science that has really just evolved even in the last two weeks that demonstrates that these vaccines are safe, they are effective, they are working in the population, just as they did in the clinical trials,? she said, ?that they are working against our variants that we have here circulating in the United States, and that, if you were to develop an infection, while -- even if you got vaccinated, that you can't transmit that infection to other people.?

She continued: ?Some of that science was really evolving as late as last Thursday. And one of the published -- one of the papers, the largest paper, was published from the CDC just the day before yesterday.?

The developments were continuing to happen as she was testifying, Walensky said.

I just want to walk around these days with both middle fingers furled. Instead, I hold a rosary and pray.

I'm also sick of "science" being constantly treated as the New Deity.
