Allow me please to revert my actions to this previously stated position . I’ve been thinking about it since yesterday. There was a scenario that came to me: The lifting of the exemption to attend Holy Mass combined with the requirement to wear a mask. I would abide in that, even though I have the choice of remaining outside the church and still be considered as having observed the Sabbath. I respect and value all your opinions and input, in general and in particular, whether or not I agree.

We are still getting credit for observing online - our church is open for mass but capped at 50 so we're staying home for a number of reasons (no in-person children's mass (kids are 10,9 & 5), deferring to older parishoners, etc).

Why would you post something like that? Why would you contribute to the public narrative discouraging people from using masks? I understand that the idea that covering your mouth helps to reduce the transmission of a respiratory disease doesn't resonate with you, but how are you so certain that no amount of information you get in the future on this topic will change your mind? If you're wrong, you're encouraging a behavior that's hurting people. I don't see how you can be that confident that covering your mouth doesn't help.

That's what they're saying about people in meat packing places too. A mask helps you keep your breath to yourself some. It doesn't mean you can be indoors all day and your breath won't accumulate.

However, the majority of masks I see are the paper ones.

A business and a person responsible for indoor and outdoor spaces open to the public must require employees, contractors, volunteers, customers and visitors to wear a mask, face shield, or face covering.​
