***Cowboys Talk***

"A QB could have a TERRIBLE game, but if he leads his team to a victory in the closing minutes then people will forget about the previous 3 1/2 quarters of the game."

"Im not saying its fair to judge a QB only on a handful of plays (good ones plays or bad plays) but thats the way it is"

I agree with all of this. Thats what I'm trying to point out. Just because people think something doesn't mean it's right. People can SAY Romo is overrated and SAY it doesn't matter what he does other than "that 1 play"...but that doesn't make it true. Forgetting about a previous 3 1/2 quarters is a flaw with football fans today. He had an awful 1st half against the Bills and took the team on a final drive to win the game, but all anyone talks about is the INT's he threw before that happened. People just take a situation and twist it to make Romo seem like he sucks. If he has a bad 1st half and wins, all they talk about is the 1st half. If he has a phenominal 3 1/2 quarters and makes 1 mistake, all they talk about is the mistake. Its hypocritical. NO OTHER Qb in the NFL is treated with those standards. Ben can suck all game but as long as they win "Ben finds a way to win games"...Rivers can't get a playoff win and all is swept under the rug and he's a top 5 QB. Makes absolutely no sense.

Football fans want wins. And when that win is possible and the QB throws a INT late in a game, and also fumbles -- well what you want?

When Romo wins a Superbowl, then I will change my assessment. I am not a Cowboys fan and have never been a Romo fan. But until I moved to Texas, I thought maybe I was being hard on him. Now, I realize I am not half as hard as the folks down here.

ESPN just did a mashup of Tony Romo's greatest chokes. Right on time! On Fox, Jimmy Johnson basically said Romo doesn't know what he's doing in the 4th quarter.

Guess Jimmie Johson is a retard and should be presented Romos 4th quarter statistics then.

3 scoring drives in the 4th/ot with broken ribs. I'll take it.

Prime example.. never credit when he wins but never a pass when he loses.

I give him credit for realizing his receiver was in the open by 12 yards. Fair enough?

What about being down 10 in the 4th quarter? What about coming back when he had every built in excuse to quit? His team was down 10, he had cracked ribs, he wouldn't of had to deal with the pressure of losing back to back games in dramatic fashion...instead he fought the coaches to get his helmet back (Which they took from him at half time) and was there for his team. I understand you guys dont like him but at least give credit when its due. I don't like Kobe Bryant but when the man puts on a show and iwns a game for his team I dont find ways to tear him down for it.

People play with messed up ribs before. He should have come back, he doesn't get praise for that. I'm just saying the TD that brought them within 3 and the OT TD were some messed up defense. I give him credit for not missing a wide open guy.

Hater in the house. Well then I guess we cant give Stafford credit for whooping up on a shitty KC team, or give him credit anytime Calvin makes a good play.

Oh and yeah QB's play with cracked ribs ALL the time. Give me a fucking break. Do they perform at the high level Romo did as well? Do they continue to take shots and lead their team to a victory in OT?

Rodney Harrison said he cracked his ribs n missed 3 weeks.
