Takes care of future TE and backup QB. No need to re-sign Scheffler and Hill next year. Jones is just a stud athlete but would play 3rd down DE, maybe OLB.

Whitehead or Lewis LB, Reiff, Fox,Nagy,Bentley,Green all become good/solid players in 2013.

Better re-sign Lawrence Jackson though. Jackson, Jones, Jones, Young, Lewis

Not that crazy but a double dip of DE would be interesting. Tampa did it with Clayborn and Bowers a couple years ago.

Do I think we need a CB in the earlier rounds? No doubt but I also thought that last year, the year before and the year before. I'm come to the conclusion we will never draft a CB in the first 2 rounds, ever.

Listen I know it's risky rolling with Fox/Hilliard/Nagy and Whitehead/Lewis/Palmer and Bartell/Bentley/Green but they all have some talent. Let's have some faith in Mayhew's 2012 draft if we are going to have faith in 2013 to save us.

But my real faith is in number 9 having a great 2013 and it doesn't matter who is on defense. Heck we won 10 with Wright, Berry and Spievey in the secondary plus Delmas hurt for 6 games. and Houston hurt for 4.5 and Berry hurt for 2-3.
