Crazy Drafts Thread

Isn't this a thread about unlikely draft picks??? Doesn't look like it

ya itd be really hard to fuck this draft up based on what we need lol. so mayhew wont draft anything we need and will shock the world! SHock the world draft:

1) STAR LOUTULILELELLELELLLEALAAU DT heart condition and DT...2 things mayhew covets. career ending injuries and drafting high round dt.

2) Deandre Hopkins WR Cant be a mayhew draft without a 2nd rd WR.

3) Barret Jones G/C potential career ending linsfranc injury. Mayhew says "drool"

4) Marcus Lattimore RB I can hear it now "We had him on our board in the first round.....if his leg didn't fall off he woulda been gone along time ago"

I'm frightened that this is what he does..

Hopkins and Jones I would be on board with them taking in 2 and 3.

Late 4th round, it's a good time to take a risk but with Bush on a 4 year deal, Leshoure 2 years left and Bell, you could go elsewhere with a safer pick than Lattimore.

The only way Star would work out
1) better than Suh (equal pass rush better run defense)
2. healthy as Suh (not missing any games)
3) cleans up a cap issue(2015) allowing us to trade Suh in 2014 offseason. Still a huge hit for Suh on a trade(in 2014 offseason) but we get cheap draft picks and probably a good haul.
4) Suh and Fairley contracts both are up after 2014 season I believe.
5) Suh or Fairley play some DE at times in 2013 and play it well.
6) Lions better get Jackson and Osi in free agency. Or Jackson and Idonije.
7) And Reiff, Nagy, Hilliard/Fox better play really well
8) Same with Bartell/Bentley/Green at number 2 and nickel

Cmon man......stop. lol

Minus the lattimore pick this would actually be a good draft for us lol if all live out healthy careers. We need a solution to the suh problem....hes going to cost 25 mil in 2015. Hopkins would be our immediate number 2....well should be....schwartz would probably play him at fullback. Barret jones fills c or rg hole.

1. Dee Milner
2. Jamar Taylor

We can finally cover the Packers wideouts

They scored only 14 offensive points at Ford Field. Delmas could have knocked down that jump ball to Cobb and other TD Finley beat Tulloch. The second TD was set up on the 40 yarder to Finely with a block in the back. The Lions CBs can cover the Packers WRs with Houston, Delmas and Quin on the field as they have done it with just Houston on the field.

Don't you stop? He might have been able to but he didn't. Damn man..

Lions CBs have stopped Rodgers. 14 points with Houston, Lacey,Green, Carey and Silva/Coleman. Houston, Bentely, Bartell, Delmas, Quin will shut him down.

Held Vikings to 6 at Ford Field. Bears to 13 at Soldier Field. Bears had 26 but was gifted 16 from turnovers. 20 at Green Bay. 14 home vs Green Bay. That is enough to win 5 division games. Fix the turnovers and the Lions are back on track and can realistically win 3-5 division games.

Those things could've happened, but the Packers could've also caught more passes and scored more touchdowns. It doesn't make sense for you to point out what they could've ideally done when the opposite is just as likely to happen. I think our secondary will be much improved with Quinn, but I'm not too excited about starting Bentley/Bartell/Greenwood/Green at the other corner spot. I'd much rather get a CB in the 1st or 2nd round.

0-6....it wasnt enough to win any division games.

Due mainly to fluke turnovers and one bad special teams game against division opponents. The Lions will have 10 less turnovers in 2013, half the special teams TDs allowed and win 10-11 games. They are that talented offensively and defensively.

Oh no, the fluke turnover. Lmao. How do you have a fluke turnover anyway?

Unforced crap that has never happened in the past. For instance, 2 Pettigrew fumbles, 3 Calvin fumbles. Pettigrew has never lost any fumbles in career. The Stafford fumble at Lambeau.

And the -10 TDs from offensive turnovers/special teams compared to the Lions defense/special teams not even getting one. The league average is +.3 for those kind of scores and the Lions -10 in that category with nobody even close. In the Schwartz era it is -1, even, +1 in those type of score differntial. -10 is a fluke.

It was fluke crap and the Lions shot themselves in the foot. It won't happen in 2013. 10 less turnovers at least, 7-8 more turnovers forced and the Lions win 10-11 games.

Dude, its football - things change from year to year. Otherwise what's the point, AP would get 2k every year, CJ would get 1.9k every year, Cinci would still suck. Who cares if he had 1 or 2 more fumbles than he "normally has".

Last year, lets say they were all healthy on D, no one opposite Delmas, no one opposite Houston, no one opposite Avril and Levy and Durant, who I like but was one dimensional. We've only improved at S. Yet we'll suddenly a 10 win team?

:lmao:

Btw, maybe Staff's 40 TD was a fluke, only did it one. Maybe 2012 is his bench mark.
