Dang, I forgot about the MSU scandal!

Schools and their coaches are not allowed to comment on recruits until they sign a letter of intent. They wouldn't be allowed to announce that they withdrew an offer.

Fella let it go already. You drone on about posters repeating anti harbs posts yet you just keep rehashing this tired ass story. Its obvious that your fellow michigan posters don't give two shits about the piece of shit Austin Robertson so I'm not quite sure why you keep bumping this.

THe Blackwell story just came out a couple of days ago. If you want it let go, quit responding. Simple!

I don't. That story is exhausting and nothing is going to come from it.

withdrawing an offer can be done without commenting on a recruit. but even if it was they can withdraw an offer and announce it after the fact. None of them did.

The judge said Dantonio would not need to schedule the deposition until after Michigan State's football season is over.

How nice of him. Guessing the judge is an MSU football fan

Well, Blackwell wanted him deposed during the season, wanted him to have to talk about Robertson, and wanted him to be able to be deposed for the entire legal time, which is like 7 hours, I think

Dantonio didn't want to be deposed during the season, didn't want to talk about Robertson, and only wanted to be deposed for a limit of 3.5 hours

The judge said he would be deposed after the season, have to discuss Robertson, and be deposed for up to the legal limit.

He gave a couple to Blackwell and then gave something to Dantonio.

Well, in light of recent developments, I thought i'd get this old thread. I didn't have to go back that far for it.

ps Please remember, no personal attacks :)

Monday 2/3/2020 this happens:

Tuesday 2/4/20 (on twitter) Dantonio quits, resigns, retires to spend time with family after earlier claiming that he has no plans to retire.

Wednesday 2/5/2020 is National Signing Day

MSU loses a RB recruit on Signing day, finishes 42nd in nation, 10th in the big 10

Kind of funny reading this thread and seeing all of the "nothing will happen"s on the Dantonio. Of course, we all know that his retirement had nothing to do with anything other than wanting to spend more time with his family. I'm completely not claiming otherwise.

Word is that Dantonio will stay on in some capacity with the athletic department, helping with the transition, and still making $1million/yr.

LOL:
Asked if Blackwell was telling the truth in the lawsuit, Dantonio said, "That's for the courts. I try very hard to never say anything negative about anybody, and I'll keep that where it's at." The reporter then attempted to follow up, but was cut off by Dantonio, who said, "We're not talking about that. This is a celebration."

What is Jeff Jackson Simpson? I don't get it

If you are referring to the Zavier Simpson "controversy," there is a thread about it and a recent post in the UM hoops thread. I'm sure you knew that.

If that is Michigan's controversy, I'll take it.

The Fickells (Luke and his wife) reportedly turned down the MSU job because of the "campus culture."

That is very Understandable.

Man, is that dude a turd. Just like when he was lying about him smiling when they did the walk-through through the Wolverines stretch period.
