Detroit Lions DL Damon Harrison named PFF's Run Defender Of The Year

You said exactly that and you said it was based on this season which it's not. Why can't you admit you were wrong on this.

Read it again, bud lol. I never said "just snaps". I said snaps AND the Eagles can't sign another WR. That's how the Eagles get the 3rd round comp pick

It's not based off this season??? What season is it based off then?? Lol. It has to do with snaps between the Lions and the Eagles btw. Wtf are you talking about...?

Google it if you think i'm lying. The article I read also said 2020 is when the comp pick comes into play.

Yes, 2020 draft after the 2019-20 season. So snaps come into play from the team he will sign and play for. It's not about Detroit and Philly. For example, if he signs with Seattle then it's the snaps he gets with them. I never said Lier just that you got it wrong.

No!!! Lol. Tate played enough snaps between the Lions and the Eagles for the Lions to acquire a 3rd round comp pick THIS yr. It has NOTHING to do with who Tate signs with next season.
The Eagles situation is kinda different. They get a 3rd round comp pick in 2020 because Tate played enough snaps between the Lions and Eagles also. BUT, the Eagles will not get that 3rd round comp pick if they sign a WR in the offseason. Also, if Tate re-signs with Philly, they lose that 3rd rd comp pick as well.

I DID NOT GET IT WRONG.

Comp picks are pretty much only based on the average per year they make on the new contract. This year snaps/contract has nothing to do with the comp picks formula.

So depending on what Tate signs for in 2019 will impact what the eagles get in 2020.

If you assume Tate will sign around 11 million per year, that would probably give Eagles around a 5th round comp pick for him.

it's actually based on net gain or loss.

But based on the quality of players overall.
If you lost a 9 million and a 4 million dollar player and signed nobody you may get a 4th/5th and a 6/7th rounder.

However if you lost 1 13 million dollar player and signed nobody you would likely get a 3rd round pick.

Both teams lost 13 million dollar worth of players, but comp picks do take in to consideration the amount of players and the amount of their individual contracts.
The team that lost two players gets two picks but lower round, but the team that lost the single player gets only 1 pick, but a higher round.
