Frank Ragnow?s pass protection is back on track.
The Lions first-round draft pick is shaking off some early struggles.
Two weeks into the season, the Detroit Lions first-round draft pick Frank Ragnow didn?t look like himself. The man who didn?t give up a single sack in his entire college career was getting turnstyled by defensive tackle after defensive tackle. His pass protection, which was largely considered his best asset, looked like it needed serious adjustment at the professional level, and I even saw some commenters suggest the draft pick was ?indefensible.?

Flash forward to two weeks later, and Ragnow seems to have ironed all of his problems out. Not only is he popping off in terms of his run blocking, but he?s improved phenomenally as a pass blocker?to a point where he?s had a completely clean rap sheet over the past two weeks:

Pressures allowed by Frank Ragnow the first two weeks of the season: 13.
Pressures allowed by Frank Ragnow the last two weeks of the season: 0.

That?s really good news considering T.J. Lang may be out for some time after suffering a concussion in Sunday?s game. The last thing the Lions need is two leaky holes on the offensive front.

With 5 TD passes vs. the packers, Lions QB Matthew Stafford will become the all-time leader in TD passes vs. GB:

J. Unitas* - 34 TDs (23 GP)
F. Tarkenton* - 33 TDs (28 GP)
M. Stafford - 30 TDs (15 GP)
B. Layne* - 28 TDs (18 GP)
D. Culpepper - 23 TDs (11 GP)

*=Hall of Famer

To go along with his career day, Golden 'Showtime' Tate reached 400 catches since joining Detroit in 2014, with his eighth catch and second TD on Sunday. He hit 400 receptions faster than any other player in #Lions history (68 games).

Dating back to last season, Kenny Golladay, Marvin JonesJr, Golden Tate have 50+ receiving yards in 5⃣ Five straight games, which is an NFL record.
