Josh Bynes and Geoff Schwartz back at practice for the Lions today. Not practicing based on what I have seen: Jon Bostic, Zaviar Gooden, Don Carey, Eric Ebron, Matthew Mulligan, Michael Ola.

Lions RB Ameer Abdullah continues to be wearing his red no-contact jersey. He has been in it all camp long. He has been working on blocking drills, though.

The NFL is testing out an eighth official on the field during Week 2 of the preseason. The league tested this out last year during the preseason, as well. Typically, only seven officials are on the field during games.
