One name likely to be linked to the Lions in the coming weeks is Harold Nash.
A longtime fixture with the New England Patriots, Nash was fired by the organization on Wednesday. He had spent 11 years with the team and had served as the head of the strength and conditioning staff since 2011.
The knock on Nash comes from the Patriots' struggles with injuries the past few years, with players missing a league-worst 245 games to injury in 2015, according to site "Man-Games Lost."
