The Lions claimed two players off waivers:
OG Zac Kerin from Toledo and OT Brian Mihalik from Boston College.
Kerin was with Minnesota, Mihalik with Pittsburgh. Mihalik was with the Lions briefly last season.

The Lions will have to cut two players to make room for the two roster claims.

Right now, Corey Robinson and Cornelius Lucas are the reserves at offensive tackle, while Brandon Thomas and Joe Dahl are the reserves on the interior. Two of those guys could be cut, or Detroit could elect to shave from another position.
