The Bills have claimed TE Khari Lee off waivers from the Lions. Lee, 25, split last season between Detroit's active roster and practice squad. He spent the 2015 season with the Bears after going undrafted that year.

The Lions claimed two players off waivers: OG Zac Kerin from Toledo and OT Brian Mihalik from Boston College. Kerin was with Minnesota, Mihalik with Pittsburgh. Mihalik was with the Lions briefly last season. Ex-Lions Khari Lee (Buffalo) & Brad Kaaya (Carolina) were claimed off waivers by other teams.

The Lions waived OT Cornelius Lucas and OG Brandon Thomas to make room for the two waiver pickups earlier today.

So no quarterback and no Antwione Williams on Detroit's initial practice squad. Williams was the most surprising Lions cut yesterday. Also no Alex Carter on Detroit's practice squad.
