Lions HC Jim Caldwell said Jarrad Davis has been "handling things well" in terms of the defense and calling defenses. Said he didn't play "perfectly" but overall sounds like Caldwell was happy with him. Credited how he works.

Lions HC Jim Caldwell said it wouldn't be accurate to call Teez Tabor a long-term project. Caldwell said Tabor is making progress and "is coming along well." Said cornerback is not easy to play as a rookie because of what's required. Said "it's a bit of a benefit for ya" to watch a bit for Tabor.

Lions HC Jim Caldwell once again declined comment on how punter Sam Martin was injured that put him on the NFI list. He mentioned checking the report. When told Martin isn't listed on the report, Caldwell said "next question," before saying that was a statement instead of a question. To be fair, it was a statement.

Golden Tate upgraded to full practice.

Lions LB Jarrad Davis was fined $9,115 for unnecessary roughness against Arizona. No other Lions players were fined, including Dwayne Washington, Tavon Wilson and Steve Longa.
