For the most part, the deals provide some depth in the Tigers farm system and protection against injuries. Think about where the Tigers might have been without Quintin Berry this past summer, or what Darin Downs meant in a few key games, and you get the idea how moves like this sometimes end up making a huge difference.

Baseball America Top 10. 1-Nick Castellanos 3B/OF 2-Avisail Garcia OF 3-Bruce Rondon RHP 4-Jake Thompson RHP 5-Austin Schotts OF 6-Danry Vasquez OF 7-Tyler Collins OF 8-Casey Crosby LHP 9-Eugenio Suarez SS/2B 10-Adam Wilk LHP. I didn't see that you listed this KC so here it is. I don't have a subscription so I don't have the scouting reports. Of these players their projected 2016 lineup had Nick at 3rd, Garcia in right, Rondon as closer, Schotts in center. Cabrera as DH and Jackson in left.

Hi Troy, and thanks for posting this. I let my script run out to BA and will re up in the new year.
Also got your message. I have the same (forgetful) problem at times signing in to various national media baseball sites and Tigers blogs.
