Dombrowski: Tigers have not made a multi-year offer to a free agent outfielder.

Victor Martinez is hitting off a tee and running. Doing great, according to Dave Dombrowski.

WBC: Tigers have not granted Victor permission to play; Victor's camp has not resisted. Also Avila won't play, but was claimed by Spain!?!

Tigers won't confirm contract offer to Bonderman; also say they have offered zero multiyear deals to an outfielder.

The WBC takes place March 2-19, meaning Cabrera will not be with the Tigers during spring training in Lakeland while he's playing in the tournament.

Dombrowski also made clear Avisail Garcia could win a job in spring. Tigers, though, won't carry Garcia/Castellanos as part-timers.

Tigers say no multiple-year offers for outfielders from them. That doesn't mean they aren't thinking one year with an option for Hairston.

and then at the same time this comes out;
