Draft Day 3 Thread

Why go backwards in the 5th? Do they have that many guys they like as late rders? I hate when teams do that.

I don't like that trade.

I'm fine with it. Most 5th, 6th, and 7th round picks are pretty interchangeable. You get into this territory, and a guy who is a 5th projection can become a 7th in the blink of an eye and vice versa.

Pick up an extra 6th and be patient. No biggie.

Gives you the flexibility to spend 2 6th round picks on some ST starters, like a P and a K. We could use both.

We should have traded our late rounders for an extra 5th. Not the other way around.

It's all flyer picks at this point guys. Relax. Most of these guys being taken in 5,6, and 7 won't even make the roster.

These are the rounds where you throw shit against the wall and see what sticks. The more shit you can throw, the better the odds something sticks.

Maybe they can trade the late 5 for a bunch of 7's.

You now have 2 6ths and 2 7ths.

Take a WR in the 5th, and then take the four biggest guys you can find left on the board on the O-Line or D-Line and see if any of them become something.

Or you could do a million things smarter than that, but whatever, it's the shit rounds.

We had 4 picks left. Plenty of flexibility. Punters are easy to find and so are kickers, especially UDFA.

I'm all about drafting those ST guys here. We had one of the worst special teams I have ever seen last season.

Five picks left. Go get me 5 ST starters and I'll call this a good draft.

we shouldnt be picking flyer picks when we still need a starting olb. Im sure washington could battle for a starting DE spot or atleast be a quality back up to whoever wins the job. Theres ppl on the board we need still...not just flyer ST guys. Wing would be valuable....our punter coudnt kick over 32 yards last year.

We can have Wing if we want him.

Palmer will likely start at OLB for us this year, and I like his skills, so I for one am not too concerned with LB.
