Draft Thread 2020

Great day. Washington and Miami with unlikely wins and now a bunch of team sit at 3 wins Getting up to #2 or #3 is a realistic possibility now. We needed some upsets.

I really hope GB needs to win the final regular season game for playoff seeding. Or you know us, we'll have the #2 or #3 pick on lock and then go out and do something stupid and win that game because GB sat everyone.

Cincy has the Browns twice, Patriots and Dolphins.
Giants have the Eagles twice, Dolphins and Redskins.
Redskins have GB, Eagles, Giants, Cowboys.
Miami has the Jets, Giants, Bengals, Patriots
Atlanta has the 49ers, Panthers, Jags and Bucs
Denver has us (enough said)

Denver will beat us (and they are beating LAC now). Atlanta has winnable games...especially home against the Jags. I'm confident Miami gets one more win with Fitzpatrick. It's kind of a crap shoot with the other 3 teams.

They all play each other though... which means the will be a bunch of wins from the teams above us still.

Cindy vs mia
Nyg vs mia and was
Was vs nyg
Mia vs nyg and cin

Definitely in the hunt for #3. Need the giants to win 2.... that's who i fear will take chase young the most.

When is the last time the Lions drafted the guy any of you guys wanted? I suspect it both available they go OT.

I can't remember the last time the Lions took a player in the first round that made much sense. I guess Decker made sense. Prior to that, Stafford?

Since Miami is not picking two any longer a QB isn't guarantee to go two now.

Pride Of Detroit Lions Podcast: How realistic is a top-three pick for the Detroit Lions? 77 minutes.
The PODcast crew recaps the Thanksgiving game and looks at some surprising Week 13 results.

After the Detroit Lions? eighth loss in nine games, plus a pretty fortunate turn of events across the league in Week 13, the Lions are in a pretty good spot to earn a top 10 pick. But just how high could their pick go?

The Lions are currently sixth in draft order, but as both John and I explained earlier in the day, based on schedule and current trends, Detroit could be much higher by the end of the month.

That?s the big topic of debate on this week?s episode of the PODcast. Myself and Ryan Mathews also try to take away some positives from Thursday?s loss to the Chicago Bears, and try to decipher exactly what the Lions? plans are for Matthew Stafford in 2019 considering some puzzling roster moves following the Bears game.

You can catch it all, plus our weekly mailbag segment in the latest episode of the PODcast.
