Election Aftermath

She's definitely got a future on a conservative platform if she wants. I think she nailed every anti lib buzzword in just one tweet. And she's hot!

she isn't hot. Her face is so scarred up...she looks like a burn victim.

I also don't think you can pin "racializing every issue" on the Democratic Party, but we've had that debate about Nixon's (and Reagan's) "southern strategy"... no point in having it again.

Also, doesn't she know it's fashionable on the Right to refer to them as the "Democrat Party?" watch out

you're a "dumbasscrat" - a would-be third party socialist if there were more than a handful of you dumbasses (you and no good lay-about septuagenarian dirty smelly hippy Bernie Sanders, the squad, the Antifa shitheads, etc) but there aren't so you have to pile on with the Dems and hope to push them as far left as possible, all the time whining about how far right the most radical Democrat party of all time is. Keep it up - it's good entertainment.

Maybe the Democrats don?t hold the corner on racializing shit?but yesterday I posted this. They were just talking about it on CNN. Don?t know how big a story it is nationally, but it?s huge here.

Basically, three Democrats of Hispanic descent were caught on a hot mic ?colluding? to figure out a way to redistrict the 10th City Council District, which has had a black representative since 1963, to make it more likely constituents will elect a Hispanic instead.

A lot of the ugly racist comments that were overheard are getting front and center attention now, but sticks and stones - the plotting by ?minority brethren? to disenfranchise black voters should be the top story.

So my friends, if you are looking for an example of the black vote being suppressed, marginalized and disenfranchised, you do not have to go to Kennesaw County Georgia and look for a pick up truck with a gun rack being ridden around in by a bunch of rednecks wearing MAGA hats. You don?t even need Republicans.

You don?t have to look any further than LA City Hall.

Tulsi got more delegates running for president to the last convention than current VP Kamala Harris.

There is virtually zero chance that I wouldn?t vote for Tulsi for national office as a Republican.

I already voted for her once for the presidential nomination when she was a Democrat.

It seems like she's done with that life. Has a podcast, making TV appearances, etc.

But it would be interesting to see how she'd do in another state (you don't win in Hawaii as a Republican) and how much she'd alter her platform in order to be competitive. Being pro-choice, pro marijuana, in support of free college for families under $125k and a supporter of criminal justice/prison for profit reform (among other left leaning ideas) wouldn't fly in most states I don't think.

Running for president is a possibility but I imagine that would only be an effort to sell books and promote her brand, not a genuine attempt.

I would certainly rather see more Tulsi in the news rather than the usual mouth breathers like Boebert, MGT, and Gaetz.

There is virtually zero chance that I wouldn?t vote for Tulsi for national office as a Republican.

I'd have a hard time not doing the same. Would certianly choose her over Biden.

Your first point above is why I kinda don't think voting actually matters anymore.

The two parties are gate-keepers against actual reform... and the Dems selected a corrupt, corporate-friendly VP who didn't win a single state in the primary (including getting washed by Bernie in her home state).

the only thing that gives me pause is I'd really like to see Abbott, Dan Patrick, Ken Paxton, and all the good old boys voted out down here. They really are terrible human beings. But on a national level? It's meaningless.

Dan Patrick?

He has a huge audience, and he does a cameo in every Adam Sandler that ever gets made.

He ain?t goin? anywhere.

Biden tries to strong arm the Saudis to prevent them from cutting production - until November, after the election. Must be because he cares so much about the working class - he doesn't want cheap gas, he wants to wait until they've voted for him before his already disastrous policies screw them even more.

Apparently he's threatening to withhold arms sales to the country. Sounds like quid pro quo at a minimum, possibly even blackmail or just a spoiled brat trying to get some revenge.

wow, you got some real opinions about this!

It's best if you keep your opinions to yourself. That makes it harder to get made fun of for your dumb take on everything - good strategy. Maybe you've finally learned something.

Inflation print for September +8.2% YoY, +.40% MoM. I can't think of anything we buy that's up less than 10%, but whatever, 8.2% is still a disaster. The gov't can't start spending all that inflation reduction act money fast enough. Inflation is killing the middle and working class, we need to get this under control ASAP (with more spending, of course).

Despite very poor television ratings, the Unselect Committee has perpetuated a show trial the likes of which this country has never seen before. There is no due process, no cross-examination, no ?real? Republican members, and no legitimacy since you do not talk about Election Fraud or not calling up the troops. It is a witch hunt of the highest level, a continuation of what has been going on for years. You have not gone after the people that created the fraud, but rather great American Patriots who questioned it, as is their Constitutional right. These people have had their lives ruined as your Committee sits back and basks in the glow," Trump wrote. "The people of this Country will not stand for unequal justice under the law, or Liberty and Justice for some. Election Day is coming. We demand answers on the Crime of the Century."

Who has been ?gone after? for ?questioning? the outcome? You question it every day here, are there jack booted thugs showing up at your door?

I don?t know if you TV wasn?t working that day, but on January 6 2021, I watched a riot on my television, just like the riots I watched during the George Floyd Summer of Love. Some of those I could have watched in person, but I thought better of it.

Also questioning the outcome of elections is nothing new. People questioned the outcome of the 2000 and 2016 elections, but I didn?t see any riots and nobody got in trouble for ?questioning.?

Also people question the outcome of lower level elections all the time. I don?t see any riots.

Lastly, nobody cares about the January 6 Committee, which really has no authority to do anything. They can make noise and people can talk about the noise they make.

Okay, a few people who still have severe TDS care, and people like you care.

Normal people don?t care.
