Even the biggest Stafford fans

Matt has been terrible in this offense. He is a gunslinger in a game manager's system. It doesn't work. And like others have said, who are we gonna get to replace him.

Even Patrick Peterson talks about Matt's happy feet. Basically Insinuating they'd get 6-7 TO's every time they'd play him. Lol.

Who cares.. If you can't win with him then move past him.

If we move Stafford, we need to go total rebuild. I mean total, sell off Tate, Calvin, Ngata, and anyone we can move for draft picks. Keep only players on their first or just starting their second contracts, focusing on players signed long enough to still be around when the new young players have developed. Because the team will be really bad without a QB, and until we get a good one, there's no reason to keep holding onto anybody not in the future plans.

That's certainly a plan, just one I am loathe to encourage. My entire lifetime feels like it's been that plan.

Won't matter what we do until we get a competent front office. We cannot draft.

History will repeat itself...we'll go 0-16 with Dan O starting and then they'll promote Mayhew's understudy

Stafford just can't put the right touch on the pass. Watch any other other above average passer and they can put the ball right where their receiver needs it. Stafford can't judge how much to put on the ball to clear a charging lineman to hit the rb in the flat.

He threw his 2 touch passes directly to the other team today lmao....what a dick.

Lions save $11.5MM in cap space if they cut him in 2016 or $16.5MM in 2017.

They have to pay him anyway, so I wouldn't mind one more year of Matt if the 2016 draft has little to offer. 2016 is either Staff or $11MM in dead cap + some new QB.

But cutting him in 2016 gives put an extra 22 million in 2017 on top of the 11.5 in 2016. So 33 million over two years. We know Stafford is not the answer, so it makes sense to try someone new, it can't be any worse than this year with a new body.

I'm going to keep having hope we trade for Jimmy Garoppolo.
