"Experts" Predictions for Bowl Game

Dude, I'm not trying to talk shit here. I'm making an unbiased statement that the 2010 MSU team wasn't as good as the record suggests and they got throttled by the only good team they played. Far more scientific numbers than the ones you or I have brought up support my claim. Michigan may not have that many all Americans, I would guess that Lavert Hill is the only one that has a chance at that honor. But you're also discounting the skill position talent that Michigan has while trying to dig their QB without considering that they rely on that guy to get them the ball.

That's like me trying to make a case that Hoke's first team was somehow special when the reality is they benefitted from a weak schedule and a lot of luck.

you didnt say they werent as good as their record, you said they were trash - obviously thats talking shit. and you're trying to turn this into an argument about something i didnt say. i clearly said i dont expect them to loae 49-7 but i do think they're in way over their heads. I do think this uofm team is probably more like the 2010 MSU team than you think - they beat a bunch of 4 loss or worse teams and got throttled by every good team they played. the highlight of their season is winning the 2nd half of the penn state game.

like it or not, we have the matchup so we'll see what happens.the only thing that makes me hopeful for uofm is that Tua isn't playing. I personally dont see anywhere else that makes me think uofm has an edge or is even as good. I certainly don't expect Saban to take this lightly and even if Alabama has a handful of guys sit out, the guys who take over are probably good enough to start at uofm. I'll be pulling for uofm but expecting a 2 TD+ loss.
