No. When there wasn't an answer to my question(s) over the weekend for live draft, and guys joining anyways, I just thought best to pass.
Didn't want to be late or cause any problem for someone thinking I Had to be in it.
Maybe someone else will have a 12 to 14 team league that will have it over a weekend mid-March.

OK. I signed up and went to the league to view. There are 15 teams? and three divisions? Need another team for 16? and they say autodraft. what's with that?

he's going to change that. i think he was just trying to confirm what day and time we're going to do it.

Also, bassburns, you need to change it to lock out eliminated teams. I don't want someone cutting miguel cabrera in the championship week and my opponent picking him up.

Basically head to head is like fantasy football except that it takes the stats for the entire week.

the stats are; AVG, Runs, RBI, HR, walks, Hits, (can't remember if there's more) for the hitters. for pitchers; ERA, K, Wins, Saves, IP, (i think that's it).

Example; At the end of the week my team has 7HR and yours has 11HR...you'd get one win. I have 19 runs scored and you have 17, I'd get a win.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong here or if I missed something because I haven't played in two years.

You are half correct, Monster. You just explained H2H "categories". Quick example - Say there are 5 categories on offense, HR, SB, RBI's, BB, RS. I'm beating you in HR's and SB's, right? The score would be 3-2 in YOUR favor because you're beating me in RBI's, BB, RS. That's one way to do it. Now, i'm not sure how this league is but i'm hoping it's just a point system with your team accumulating as many points during the week.

Firstly your all wrong, I win, end of discussion, muhahahaha!

Hitter Cats: R, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, Avg, & OPS

Pitcher Cats: IP, W, CG, SHO, SV, K, ERA, Whip

8x8 category style.

It is a points system going towards your H2H totals throughout the week. Basically your all fighting for 2nd place, congrats!

Don't see the point in having SHO and 3B as stats, they happen so rarely people will win those categories with 1 in a week, and the majority of weeks it will just result in a tie.

OBP or BB would be better than 3B for offense.

Right and I agree with you but most baseball fans aren't that involved with statistics to get OPS let alone OBP. Are you guys above average? I don't know are ya, since I don't know ya.

So you'd rather have BB as a negative category for pitchers are your suggesting that substitute 3Bs with OBP or BBs?

I'd rather just deleted the 2 categories mentioned then add different ones.

I'd be willing to bet that people who post on an internet baseball forum understand what OBP is.

BTW, OBP is much more known than OPS, so anybody who knows what OPS is will be well aware of what OBP is.
