I can't find the video now. It was in an RMS feed from 3 days ago on Reuters. I get you're skeptical without seeing it yourself, that's understandable. I would be too. I'll share it if it pops up again.

Starts at 41-42 seconds. This video is easier to find. Being plastered by liberal sites everywhere. It has nothing to do with the shooting. More of a look at his character potentially.

There are many civilians with better composure and range time than officers. There are also many officers who shouldn't be officers.

That NY video showed at a minimum 3.

In times of stress, people fall back on their instincts and that's something you can mold with training. Unless you are Alan Iverson, than you don't need practice.

Agreed. Which is why I think a 17 year old probably falls under that criteria as he had no training. He even failed a Marine test, though it hasn't been released on what the criteria he failed was on. Dude might have asthma for all I know. He looked pretty winded running down that street.

It amazes me that people try to defend these assholes. a 17 year old prick drives to another state to "defend" the land from scary protesters. What fucking world do you live in where that makes any damn sense to you?

I've read multiple reports and seen at least one video where he (and others) were in the parking lot of a car dealership aiming his/their guns at passerbys that they deemed a threat or too close.

Subjective and very debatable. I'm just glad he didn't have it with him when he punched that girl in the back of the head repeatedly. I'm sure that was self defense too.

But not irrelevant to the situation at all really (And certainly not irrelevant to the courts). We're constantly making excuses for 'trained' adult police officers and the stresses of discharging their firearms inappropriately. An armed 17 year old in a volatile situation like this was a disaster in the making.

I dont care enough to look into it but a lot of "liberal media" points at the fact the skateboard guy was attacking the shooter in response to the shooter already shooting and killing someone. Cost him his life..probably saved countless other lives.

You don't care to look into it. In otherwords, you want to feel outraged without knowing the facts of the matter.

Than without looking into the matter, you condemn the media for reporting what happened!

Do you realize how ignorant that makes you sound?

How do you figure?

The guy with rifle only shot those who attacked him. What a novel concept, using a weapon to defend oneself.

Why? How would getting whacked with a skateboard have had an effect on
the mind of the kid with the rifle?

Not outraged...

Didn't say anything about the media...

I already said i was ignorant.... hence not giving a fuck enough to look into it. Duh..

Because having a guy ontop of you smashing you in the head with a skateboard stops you from shooting other people? You really do live on a different planet don't you?

Sure, but really, anybody that thinks they aren't guilty of this somewhere is fooling themselves. Everybody fact checks better when outrage aligns with their preconceived notions.

He had to be kidding. I'm the worst at reading such things and even I know that everybody knows how you lose your mind temporarily when someone bonks you in the head.

No.

I live on this planet, and I use logic and reason.

Once you’ve shot and killed skateboard guy, his attempt to thwart you doesn’t stop you from continuing to do, or attempting to do, whatever else you want to try to do.

How can it? Once he’s dead, he’s no longer a deterrent. The kid could continue to do whatever he wanted to. Skateboard dude stopped nothing.

I’ve realized you’re just a troll, posting moronic crap to get a rise out of other posters.

Have fun.

So you think a 17 year old that just murdered someone in public with a bunch of people watching is not effected in the slightest... and would just keep on killing others? If that's the case then i hope they give him the death penalty.

Sure, whatever troll...if the system finds he deserves that...I hope he gets that too.

Have fun.

how exactly did he save countless lives???

Report:
The vast majority of the thousands of Black Lives Matter protests this summer have been peaceful, with more than 93% involving no serious harm to people or damage to property, according to a new report tracking political violence in the United States.

But the US government has taken a ?heavy-handed approach? to the demonstrations, with authorities using force ?more often than not? when they are present, the report found.

And there has been a troubling trend of violence and armed intimidation by individual actors, including dozens of car-ramming attacks targeting demonstrators across the country.

Even the Trump Administration's own DHS - itself responsible for escalating the violence at protests - considers Right Wing violence "the most persistent and lethal threat in the Homeland through 2021"

That?s not surprising.

All the anarchists - from opposite ends of the loon spectrum - are out there side by side.

It?s like the alliances in the Hunger Games.

At some point in time, the alliance will no longer have a purpose, and it?ll be time to try to kill each other.

I love how people "both sides" a group of people protesting police misconduct and brutality, bringing water & food to other protestors, and bringing aid to those tear gassed, and beaten withretards carrying assault rifles to threaten (and now murder), ramming those same protestors with cars.

"Both sides are out of control here!!!1111"

yeah...

He didn?t.

That said the stupid kid deserves what he gets.

If his dumbass hadn?t been out there with a rifle, he wouldn?t be facing double murder charges.

Aye ding dong is gonna get whatever he gets.

Keep in mind he is young enough to be in US army so.... don't get too tied up in the whole 17 thing.

Saw a video of a lawyer (different state) reading over the criminal complaint and made a comment that "it was written for the case to be lost by the prosecutor" and that "it seemed like a political case to quell potential protests".

The way the criminal complaint is written by the DA, it really paints Kyle in a very favourable defense position.

On each shooting it was painted that Kyle was attacked and he shot as a response.

Also, apparently the reason the first guy went after Kyle is Kyle put out a dumpster fire. Looked like they were planning on ramming the enflamed dumpster into something.

No good deed goes unpunished.

Maybe they?ll cut a deal and he can go into the military.
